This is ridiculous. He looks to me to be playing the puck. Gotta agree with @jubilantjam, try playing hockey and skating full tilt and not having something reckless happen from time to time, reckless isnt the same as dirty. Most of you use reckless as the standard for dirty, if that's the case then no one in the NHL is clean. I'd even venture to say "The Great One" has done some reckless things during his time on the ice, doesn't make it dirty.
it was a normal hit...not a cheap shot. I was at this game and if you watch close up replays, Dorsett's head hit the boards really hard, causing him to become injured,
I see a hit from behind with Neil lifting his elbow at the last second to hit him in the head. Clearly shows intent, also it's a hit from behind, doesn't matter Dorsett can't fight for the puck, can't skate, didn't eat his Wheaties this morning, whatever excuse you blame him for, Neil made the decision for which there is no excuse. DON'T HIT FROM BEHIND. It's pretty fucking simple.
Number 1. Dorsett was facing the puck at first so Neal was going to hit him. Then dorsett turned and faced the boards at the last second. So Neal can't stop his momentum and h hits him. My point. Bad call!
This was not a dirty play, and Neal is not a dirty player. Dorsett apparently doesn't know how fight for the puck along the boards because when you are near the puck and along the boards you bet your ass you are gonna get checked. Neal shouldn't have recieved the suspension. End of story. If you think this was dirty, then you are a completely retarded and biased Blue Jackets fan.
you all are pretty retarded for thinking this is a dirty play.
guy is a pansy and bad hockey player for just sitting with his head down turned to the boards. now he just gets bailed out by the league for his crappy positioning and the other guy gets a boarding call.
going after a puck . . . hockey is turning into a skirt game just like football has turned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But its okay hit someone in the face with a glove still on?????
He wasn't even going for Dorsett...he deserved more for colliding with a guy and that guys head coincidentally crashing against the glass? It wasn't like he grabbed Dorsett's head and smashed it into the glass.
i love the way he falls at the end

Neal had plenty of time to pull up, that was a straight hit from behind. It's a dirty hit, end of story, definitely deserved the suspension.

@ypodeswa not even close to a cheap hit, end of story. Definitely did not deserve suspension

it was a hit from behind you fuckin idiot.
If you can see the player's number or nametag, you aren't allowed to hit, because its fucking dangerous.
