Great video! However it might be a good idea to either use Twixtor (with good settings) for the slow-motion or use the 720p 60fps mode for video to get the smooth marvelous slow-mo that everyone loves.

If you are going to shoot music videos, you probably want the best Depth Of Field possible. Than you should go for Canon 50mm 1.4 EF. It has no zoom, but God, it's great in DOF ! Remember - the lower EF the better focus :)

How do you focus? What focus setting do you use when you shoot a video?

@Nikulasn The song is Phantogram - When I'm Small.

I always shoot with manual focus on Lens, and the lowest AF possible (not always good, but you have to play with it). However, I'm not sure if I got your question right.. :)

@DemonicFeatures Thanks. You have to download something called "film burns" and than you add it on top of the video with "Add" or "Screen" blend mode, and adjust opacity if you aren't happy with the effect ;) I got mine from:
