look I am latin & I respect the contribution Valens gave to music period but sorry to say I think its pathetic that The Valens Family use every tribute to Ritchie Valens as an excuse to hog the spotlight, these world class musicians take the time to show up & honor His legacy & perform on a high level cause dude it's not some backyard party! @CoasterFreak118 Actually, she was on set during the production and even has a cameo in the film as a guest at Ritchie's house party. The movie was released in July and she passed in October, so she was able to see the finished product and I'll bet she was very proud.
