Theres another way to play these barre chords where you use your thumb for root note play the A,D,G string as they are in the barre & leave the B & e open. You might wanna try that, Ive tried that in another song of Damiens & few songs of beck & it sounds quite good.

What you have here is what you get with all of Damiens writings; it's poetry to music. Depressing? Yes, it is ... and it's meant to be because it tells a very clear story. It opens the senses to a reality that many have gone through and would understand. The fact that some people would only see it to be depressing (and nothing else) only shows how they don't see into what's here; like poetry ... you either get into what you see or you don't; what you don't feel is what you don't understand.
