glad I'm not the only one that actually liked the werehog stages, I'ma big fan of action beat em up games like God of War & Bayonetta, & while it did have its camera issues @ times, the werehog stages provided a nice change of pace w/ its platforming, and combat..not to mention the night remixes of the hub musics are some of the best tracks in the game, I liked Unleashed as a whole product & it really irks me 2 see it get thrown into the pile of "bad Sonic games" cause it does not deserve it...

Although I do not like the idea of the Werehog as it doesn't fit Sonic at all, I do like the Gameplay and Design of it in this game. I think It would've been cool if you control Knuckles instead of the Werehog in the Night stages. It would've fit better gameplay-wise.

@nevrest i played it it was fun but werehog is too slow thats the problem but besides that sonic unleashed has one thing that makes it better than sonic colors it has more terrain i just noticed that two weeks ago but sonic colors brought everything that was suppose to be added> and new things and new gamplay but besides that the werehog is really fun to play as. you wouldnt be a sonic fan if you would hate the werehog.

Although I can't say that the night stages are a major flaw in the game itself, but I think that they made these stages a tad bit too long, and after awhile of not trying to die, and get all the sun and moon medals, I get bored and leave the game on, coming back to it at a l8er time.

It looks very fun in my kind of view. To me actually playing the Werehog with an unlocked 30 sets of combat moves spice it up in 5 different levels(including Chun-nan), with uploaded DLC levels(Night) content.

The DLC improved much about everything for the Werehog, the combat system and with a more responsive control concept(Also with more interesting and fun stages, surprisingly true!).

I hate the damn werehog levels. It made the game so boring. I love sonic games but im done playing crappy gimicks. I love the daytime stages but the medal collecting and the werehog should have stayed a concept. Im done s ranking bad sonic games (i S ranked Sonic the hedgehog for the 360). Nice playthrough.

Two things I hate about the werehog levels (among others):

1) When you're fighting enemies, they play the SAME DAMN SONG every time! Does Sega not think we can get tired of a song???

2) On the Wii version, you punch by swinging the Wiimote and nunchuck. This eliminates all sense of strategy-you flail your arms like a madman until all of the guys are dead.

How do you get to this stage? I've opened access to Chun-nan and got the lightspeed dash shoes, but I can't figure out how to get to any of the levels in the entrance stage, day or night.

Well, you have to go to previous stages or towns and collect MORE sun & moon medals. But you have to collect ALOT of them, so not even ten of each will get you to the next stage.

Ahh, it seems taking the different route at 5.30 removes the IMPOSSIBLE double pole swing. I swear the pole swing part of this level is broken, as I tried it about 30 times and every single time Sonic would face-plant into the water instead of grabbing onto the second pole. Maybe this level is possible after all.

I actually quite enjoy the Werehog levels, the level design is pretty good and the graphics/art style of the whole night theme on the levels is top notch...However in reality these levels should've been given to Knuckles, everyone would've been far more forgiving if that was the case.

Knuckles absence in this game is a freaking nonsense. They made the plot about restoring the emeralds and yet the FREAKING GUARDIAN OF THE EMERALDS DOES NOT APPEAR? What were they thinking? Sure they wanted to please the "no sonic friends" people but the whole world is broken and no one of Sonic´s friends seem to notice? At least they could mention them as if they were helping too, for the sake of sense, despite them not being playable.

In Empire city there are streets and bulidings based on sonics friends and when you talk to brenda in EC she says something about shadow the hedgehog.
