It is a much simpler explanation:

At around sunset the color of sunlight is orange. Like this.

In some conditions, the twin contrails of 2-engine planes are short. Like this.

When a contrail is near the suns location in the sky, the amount of reflected sunlight is increased, making the contrail much brighter. Like this.

On a fuzzy video, this can make it appear glowing.

They made a news report the following day.

They used the time to consult The Astronomical Society of Singapore, who concluded that it was most likely simply a sunset contrail. Also called an "orange contrail" or a "pink contrail" depending on the atmospheric conditions (particles in the air changes the color of sunlight at sunset).

What happens is that the set sun is able to illuminate the high flying plane's contrail, even after we see the sun as having set.

In no way do I believe this is an aircraft's contrail, I was born into a family of aviators and have grown up watching the skies, Living under the open skies of Las Vegas I've seen many contrails at sunset. This to me looks more like the passing of a comet or possibly Nibiru.

No comet is ever this bright, without every single astronomical journal placing it prominently on the cover. It would be the story of the decade, if not century in that field. Even the mainstream media would feature it prominently. So if it was a comet, we would all know it's name.

From what I understand, contrails don't travel like that. I would say it's just a small meteor burning up and entering the atmosphere. Nothing serious in my opinion.

The video makes it look faster than 15 minutes. As they clipped the video down, it seamed faster on each clip. I figured she was overexagerating when she said it took 15 minutes. Things are just easy to read wrong when viewing from an online vid, especially when it's clipped.

On contrary, I think it actually is space junk.

It could be a geosynchronous satellite falling from orbit. Singapore is near the equator so I suppose if a geosynchronous satellite was to fall from the clark belt (directly over the equator), it would appear to not move much in the sky as it is orbit is relative to earth's.

As it's velocity decreases it falls lower into earth's atmosphere, heating up from the air resistance like a meteor.
