  • The background to this song could be turned into a movie like the Body Guard but with the twist the singer actually goes on to use the stalkers words in her lyrics, bit creepy but a pretty fitting tribute.

  • Wow the best talented women in the world♥♥♥♥

  • AMAZING!! She has an incredible voice!!

  • mother FUCK!!!! why did you cut off the very last note?!?!?! the last 5-10 seconds of the video don't play - SHAME on you for uploading this crap quality edited video for such a precious and magical song :(

  • @DJMichaelAngelo I must have uploaded the clip I U/L'ed on photo bucket, which has a 5 minute time limit on videos... just be glad I even uploaded something. I'll see about uploading the full version soon

  • If I make this comment. On every other videos I watched from any other singers, there were comments, discussions (sometimes heated discussions) as to the lyrics and thoughts provocations brought by the singer and her/his song. Yet with Ms Lachlan, no comment made is ever of substance, only about Ms Lachlan's physic, voice and talent or her marriage and divorce. I was only wondering if people ever question and think what Ms Lachlan sings about?

  • Damn , THE version above all others is on the DUE SOUTH OST Vol 1, funny how you cant see that on youtube

  • @iamgeoffrey:

I agree 100%. I love this song, this version ist beautiful. But the best one is indeed the Due South version. :-)

  • @iamgeoffrey Wouldn't this be the same version that appears as a hidden track on her Fumbling album or is it a whole new version?

  • @SMJM85

I do nit honestly know if its a hidden extra or not, I can tell you that the particuler episode with that version of the song I wore out, hence my investing in the 1st Due South soundtrack cd, a very good cd at that, it also has the Mountie song Ride Forever on it.

  • should have always been her and a piano for this song

  • Absolutely one of my favorite songs- so deep and beautiful. She is amazing!

  • The Mirrorball version is okay, the Afterglow is amazing with more power on the guitar, but the piano version overcomes all of them...

Such a lady...Such a voice worthy of angels and gods...

  • by piano version, do you mean the vh1 storytellers version? because that is by far my favourite version of this song ... i love the whole concert!

  • I love this version the best. It's an incredible song, and watching her perform it on the piano just has this amazingly powerful feeling to it. There's a little bit of a Tori Amos sound that comes through, and I mean that as such a compliment! Awesome.

  • This is my fav song (I think as in an "all time fav"), because it's so heartfelt, honest and dark-light... this song is so much, so emotional, that I can't be not involved...Brings tears to my eyes..."Into the sea of waking dream I follow without pride, 'cause nothing stands between us here and I won't be denied..." I wish, this would be true...

  • A very beautiful song. One of my favs.

  • Great song.........

  • The best song ever...so deep, haunting, hopeful&destroying...just the greatest

  • ... just love her voice...

  • AMAZING

    Adoro essa canção!!!!!!! u.u

  • First time I saw this version on TV I cried like a little girl with a scraped knee, everything about this performance is absolutely beautiful, soulful and sublime. AMAZING

  • sublime...yes.

    ...exquisitely sublime.

  • i heared this piano version in due south and was totaly paralyzed. i think i forget to breath.

this was the first song i heared from sarah. next day i bought her album an play it hour after hour.

thank you sarah for your musik *deeply bows*

  • i agree...that song was one of the best musical cues on the show and i'm pretty sure i cried when i first saw it ;)

    major props to ms. McL!

  • @RadagastUO

Kudos to you for mentioning the Due South version, stunning on the cd, worth the price alone

  • What? *Represses urge to let grammar Nazi go to town on this*

  • damned this woman cuts the deepest!!!

  • @woodenshoeangel

    I agree with you

  • This version almost beats the VH1 Storytellers and Later with Jools Holland versions... still an amazing song after 15 years!!
