thank you, bdrum50, for putting this interview on youtube....it was truly wonderful hearing these musicians "talking music" and relating so well to one another! and how charming is liberty in his adulation of dino!!! and dino is so humble and unassuming (for a rock icon)...genuinely nice guy.....now, was this filmed for a dvd, and if so, is it released?
I saw him in Atlanta at the Municipal Auditorium throw a drum stick so far in the air that it vanished in to the overhead curtains came down and he caught it on the beat without looking - no magician could have pulled this off
Man,was I pleasantly suprised to find this interview while searching around for Rascals stuff.I'd love to get in touch with Dino,he inspired so many drummers my age(40's-50's)He mentions a song "Hold On" one of the greatest Rascals. He used to be into Art (before it was cool for rock dudes to make believe they were deep)But he was an amazing sculpturer.Once upon a Dream
Hey NJGUY!! I'm from Connecticut and I just wanted to say that I feel the same way about Dino and the Rascals. Unfortunately, I was only able to see them 3 times during the 60's..Their shows were magic. I can't decribe it. But Then they're The Rascals so there is nothing else to say.
Dino still has that sexy voice, I love hearing him talk and playing the drums,Him and Carmine are my favorite drummers in the whole wide world. Im glad that some one love these guys as mush as I do ,thank you for the legendary memory of all time, thank you my friend.
Thank you for this!!.. the greatest 10 part interiview on Youtube today!! I didnt want it to end... could have listened to 10 more parts! Glad to see that other people feel like Dino and the Rascals were the GREATEST!!!
