Akin to VII, FFX was a game I just didn't "get", but there were three things that kept me playing. One, the awesome battle system. Two, the awesome music. Three, Auron. He was the only character in the game that I felt any kind of connection with and even thought I didn't like the ride, I stuck along to the end just to see where he'd lead those young whippersnappers.

@Vivi239 Thanks, Man....I've been talking with my Dad lately, and now even moreso as we are the only ones home as of right now...Really shocked me how my dad really felt about his Sister-in-Law, and that her death really is tearing him up inside. My father, someone I considered either full of piss and vinegar(but can be very loving sometimes) or iron willed, broke down in front of me after my Mom and Bro left...Really shocks you, y'know...

@AlucardHellsing97 i know the feeling, my friend was like the brother i never had, he passed away at 16, when i heard about it i was so heartbroken i didn't have the strength to eat anything or do anything after that my grandparents passed away too, i was so heartbroken, i can't even face the world with a real smile anymore, i still find the strength to live day by day, i know it hurts, live your life for you and for them, the ones you lost wouldn't want you to be upset

I may have never known the girl, Shelly King, but from the way you're talking, I do know one thing; she's in a better place now, where there's no pain and no suffering. It's that one thought that kept me from going insane when... well someone I loved dearly died. My sympathies and prayers go to you, stay strong bro.

@StormSnake0618 Thank you. For the last four years, she was suffering greatly from Arthritis and other things..Im just glad she won't be in pain anymore. She truly was a strong person, as she dealt with that pain, raised a grandchild, and supported other family members, all at the same time...I just wish I could have a few last words with her..*sigh*

I wish I could have told my stepfather how much he meant to me, how much I loved him as a real father before he died last year on December 28. I wish I could have said something to him... I take it Ms. King was your grandmother? Well believe me; even if you can't see her, she'll always be there watching over you, just like I know my stepfather and grandma are watching over me right now.

Auron was more or less the seer reason why I chose to buy and play FF10, then I got to know the Aeon Feature of the game and has been a Die-hard fan of it since.

Nevertheless, Auron's Badassery, His Experienced Wisdom and his Undying Will are all Qualities befitting of an Epic and Everlasting Character! :D

Thanks, Man....She was cremated earlier today, and my Mom's still upset about it..All I gotta say about her is that she was Auron in a way...She was strong, usually silent, spoke only when giving incredible advice, and was very compassionate about her family. I'll always miss her, and that gap will never be filled.

RIP, Shelly King. Your in God's Hands now..
