Robbie is insane. Right in there with the pantheon of NYC drummers..no doubt. Never got a chance to see him with Wayne Krantz sitting in at the 55bar, but have seen his buddy Lincoln on bass many a time. Never would have guessed he is Lebonese because he certainly sounds like he's from Brazil or Cuba. Not New Haven, Ct!! Not suprised he's a highly intellegent guy who went to Harvard though.
I often wondered what ride cymbal he uses. the bottom side of his cymbal is half-lathed like the "duo ride". the top surface is unlathed like the discontinued "raw dry ride" or the "leopard ride". but it's by far not as heavy as the leopard.

No it's not. I have an AA raw ride and it's surface is totally flat, smooth. This one looks more like a dirty HH Leopard Ride.
