bro ckp elok2 k....ini laaa bangsa yang paling di takuti samaada d malaysia atau filipin.....bajau @ suluk......klu berani jumpa laaa salah swog dari mereka pas 2 ckp mcm nh x psl2 kepala hang kena potong tau.....
What is this dialect? I can't understand a single word their saying (maybe three or four, truth be known), and that's saying a lot. I can usually at least pick up some of what's being said even if I don't speak a dialect. I love this music because it's not bloated with western culture. That's one thing I guess I really like about Mindanao.
Hi Jason. It was a bajau dialect which is well known as Binadan as well.Basically Bajau dialect came from one tribe but has different accents such as simunul, tandobus, tabawan, ubian etc.
yeah.. im from the phils. but, i dont want that Sabah will get back to jolo. coz, the philippine government will just destroy everything.. And FYI, Sabah WAS NOT property of PHILIPPINES, its JOLO.. :D
sabah can not back mother country of any want because sabah is are malaysia no 1 ni worlds.sabah malaysia is nice n good place to stay but not dengerose place, like the other iam are local sabahan
sabah is a part of the philippines, malaysia garab tha sabah, but history will tell that the sabah is part of the philippines.someday sabah will be back to his own mother country...MABUHAY ANG PILIPINAS...
Let me just say that the populations of Sabah east coast in Malaysia have much similarity in terms of culture, traditions, languages & delicacy as of the Tawi-tawi in the Philippines. Similarly as in Peninsular Malaysia and some parts of Indonesia. I am a Malaysian Bajau myself and do understands some of those similarities between the Malaysian or the Philippines Bajau. History tells...nothing sucks! Similar...but still different thou
I'll try and answer this as best as I can. Im a Tausug. That song Pakiring is in Siamal or Badjao dialect and the term "pakiring" refers to the wiggling body and arm movements seen in the dance.
this song is very common in the East Coast part of Sabah, Malaysia. Its performed by Bajau-laut race during occasions, like gatherings, or cultural nights..
@ nyvs18: Because its from Sulu: its either Samal or Badjao dialect. btw, rinda05, could you add "philippine" or "filipino" into the tags, as you spelt "philippine" with only one "p". thanks :-)

we have a word in surigao called "kirig" or "nikirig" means if you are electricuted,(or parang bang nakoryente)
"kirigan" means kiat sa visaya or sa tagalog malikot(?notsureforthis in tagalog)
"tagkirigan" if you feel excited, parang di ka mapakali.."tagkirigan ako when i saw my crush".
