  • y does ryan put his hands on his hips like a chick?

  • kenyans kick these rich and privilidged kids butts all the time, the kenyans are lucky to get a new pair of shoes once a year

  • Awww yea sara went to my highschool like 10 years ago. Montgomery

  • this is pretty cool

  • what are there resting times?

  • Putting your hands over your head makes your lungs "collapse" sometimes and wont be super effective. But they and their body are just reacting to the workout. It really doesn't matter much in the long run, just as long as you practice effective breathing WHILE you are running.

  • how often do they train with hills and whats the workout like? how many times do they run the 800m hill?

  • @LphiESteve 200

  • ok, i acknowledge that their marathon paces are probably faster than my all-out sprint, but wtf...in P.E. class and also in middle school cross country they taught us that bending over is counter-productive to "catching" your breath. you would think they (or sara) would know that.

  • @medow006 yeah well it looks like PE class was wrong.

dude these are extreme competitors, they are looking towards the victory not towards staying in shape

  • @UpalKashey Don't be a retard. I am in excellent shape. I was simply acknowledging that a professional marathoner is extremely fast. Also, bending over reduces your lungs' abilities to inflate to their fullest, that is a fact and simple logic, and I was making the point that it is taught to elementary school children, yet sara seems to not know this. Ryan got it right: you can see him standing upright with his hands above his head.

  • @medow006 makes sense

  • @medow006

i dont like training with little girls-they always wear skimpy clothes

  • that is just HARDCORE, fantastic being able to share running as a common activity in your marriage. Great role models.

  • A 2:10 800m @ 9000ft elevation and uphill...Freakin' amazing. They are BEASTS

  • Cute girls I have met a lot but cute AND fast girls....not many.

  • Sarah is beautiful

  • Healthy way to live and grow together! Good Stuff...Gotta run.

  • mu bueno

  • Nice Workout I love it;

  • Sarah is a monster!! (with all the respect in the world)

  • I can't even run that fast on flat pavement. (sigh). I hate my Made in China lungs. 8o(

  • thats ryan's wife sara hall

  • DUH. shes bad ass.

  • RYAN HALL FTW!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How big is Ryan?

    Footage never really conveys this.

  • His profile on the NBC Olympics says he's 5'10, and either 140 or 150 pounds.

  • @RagingMetaler515 he definitely doesn't weigh 150. I'd say 140 at the most, but I heard he weighs around 130... I read that on a profile of him on some website

  • A simple google search probaly could give you a good answer!

  • Sarah is hot....

  • hell yeah :)

  • Nice video. 800's at 9000 feet is a challenging workout. These elite athletes benefit greatly from being able to complete this type of workout.

  • what song is this?

  • I will follow (live) by U2 it says in the video lol.

  • surely the chick started with a big head start.

  • I wouldnt say that. for some reason girls are better at hills naturally than guys. Something about there mechanics within their body from what I was told at a cross country camp last summer from a member of the german marathon team

  • Love Ryan Hall!

  • I'm going to run this through Deshaker so I can watch it without throwing up! Nice workout, btw. GO HALL!

  • whats the distance, 200m?

  • well if it is taking 2:10 or more; I'd say it's closer to 800m.

  • yeah i posted that before they got in the times on the video, i was impatient :)
