OMG, this banjo Woolbright looks like my son, a Woolbright - looks like our Woolbright genes are pretty strong! This recording inspired my youngest, an awesome drummer, to teach himself banjo - mainly by listening to this and other recordings of this era. He is now 19 years old! Still playing, added guitar this year.
1927 in Atlanta Ga. I love the harmonies they did, and Woolbright's banjo playing was a big influence on a young Earl Scruggs, who also came from Cleveland County NC.
