  • He definitely sounds a lot more like Freddie on this take than in the final version.

  • Ahaa this is recorded down the road from me. I knew it was a film studios but I didn't know they did music too. They probably don't anymore...

  • tim staffel on vocals

  • this is brian may

  • this brian may on vocals

  • Oh, Lord, where do you find all these stupendous photos?? Red Special at 3:00.... It's fantastic!!

  • staffel had a good voice too

  • I don't think Staffell ever sounded as much as Freddie like on this take! Seems the Queen sound was pretty much defined in '67, or am I just hearing things?

  • a better than the official version

  • hola gente soy sergio de ciudadela fanatico de queen les comento 1984 era un grupo formado por brian may estos temas los tengo

    es una reliquia tener esto

    aguante queen

  • De donde los sacaste???

  • Red Special's sound has changed so much over the years--in timbre and color. Neat to hear how it has broken in and evolved over the years.

  • @leisterviola The Red Special sound had a lot to do with the Deacy Amp that John Deacon made in the early 70s. All the distinctive guitar orchestrations Brian created were made using the Red Special and the Deacy Amp.

  • He probably doesn't know he's being recorded, probably just testing things out.

  • This is a common bootleg. Yes, Staffell is on vocals.

  • Tim's voice sounds so gentle in this one.
