The old series, sadly, is overall better. The characters in this series seem so flat, and KITT himself just isn't as charming as his formal British counterpart in the 80s version. Certainly the effects jazz up the premise of Knight Rider, but really, this version is hardly worth watching.

Thanks for uploading the actual intro, it's hard to find it, seeing how a lot of people would rather use the old theme, or remix the damn thing.

I like they made an updated version of Knight Rider. With today's computer edition and special effects, we can acchieve much more cooler pictures than in the past. But that doesn't of course mean that the old series wouldn't have been nostalgic.

@howardkevinm well the only people sent to the u.e.-office were those from Ford, because of the 08-crash. Ford's cancellation of sponsoring was one of the main reasons for this show to end. good thing that most of the cast members are back on the screen. shows come and go. it's just how it goes.

Man this reboot was just so fundamentally flawed, which was a shame. I'm sure we could all get past the Hoff being replaced. but there was no reason to replace KITT, infact they went out of their way to say "this isnt the KITT you loved". Would it have been so terrible to upgrade the old KITT into this new body? We probably could have also looked passed the Mustang body, aslong as we knew at the heart of it was the old KITT.

This seems like the kind of video that I'd expect a Need For Speed game intro to be. The music, the fast cuts, the bling, the flashiness... it'd be a perfect fit :-D.

Don't like this myself. The music is too heavy, the video too frantic and hectic, it doesn't make much sense. But asi I understand it, the show was equally dumb. Or so I've heard...

Yeah !!!.....Nothing like the original, this car is ugly & seems to me like amateur Fast & the Furious junk.........the first KITT rules & it had lots of mysterious seductiveness to it - not like this PIMP car !!!

Ich finde das alte Knight Rider besser, als das neue! Das neue ist scheiße. Wäre zwar besser, wenn David Hasselhoff am Steuer wäre, aber ist er ja leider nicht. Glen A. Larson hätte lieber die erweiterung mit dem Trans Am gemacht!

Trans Am? Pontiac bringt nur gurken auf den markt, auch der alte trans am sah scheiße aus. Der Knight 2000 Sah nur gut aus, aufgrund der knight rider modifizierung.

Ich find den mustang gar net übel und david hasselhoff den alten knacker am steuer wäre auch dumm.

Aber ich finde er sollte auch ein rolle im neuen knight rider bekommen, außer des 2 min. autritts im pilot film..

You know Viper? xD I watched that ages ago, compared to the KR it was crap, yet I liked the car. Like always. Lol. This new KR ist not bad in its own, yet nothing compares to old KITT's character and humor. Priceless episodes.

Have you noticed that the Season 1 Opening sounds tamed compared to the Pilot opening?

The pilot intro' was more gritty and in-your-face, this is still good, but less hard hitting tones.
