thumbs up mate, most of the games i know, and the story in them are superb, way better than simple plots like the hl series, that has been seen before so many times.. the whole MGS series have great storylines, Max Payne 1-2 both are awesome and the monologue is so damn good it really affects the atmosphere.

The GTA series is too boring in my opinion

i think that san andreas has a way better story than IV niko is going in liberty city becawse he only wants to make money and see his cousin but roman is in pretty deep shit niko needs to help him blah blah blah and it turns out niko is a serial killer that kills people for money only the san andreas story is more exiting CJ comes back to los santos becawse the murder of his mom wich the rival gang the ballas mede and he wants to revenge with his brother sweet

@mosu95 Cod1-3 were not really storys it was just the war. Cod 4 was the highest point for a story for Cod series but still it was not great. Cod 5-7 Suck at a game and a story.

GTA SA has an epic, long storyline about a gang rebuilding, a life ruined by corrupt police officers.

GTA IV is just about a russian serial killer in Liberty City.

@Yurian903 Yeah, half life has a really poor story compared to other big games. It keeps you entertained throughout the game, but it won't make you stay awake till 5:00am. Games you mentioned might seem to have a good story line when compared to modern games, such as Cod, far cry etc.. But there's tons of older games which blow them away with their storyline.

Lemme just say that Grand Theft Auto IV's storyline isnt as good as Saints Row's. In Saints Row, you start out as a nobody who keeps his mouth shut and does what hes told, then in the second one, after the "incident" with the mayor, you wake up and decide its time to take action and rule the Saints. To me, GTA4 is just a low-life forigner <---- Spelled wrong- Who comes to America for fame and fortune... See the differences?

@snizandfondue Well everyone agrees that GTA 4 is way better then Saints Row. Saints didnt won best game of the year unlike the GTA series which won awards. Its also one of the best storys in games to date. (like Tony Montana from Scarface) A nobody that came in this country to be somebody. Unlike Saints Row which is a rip off of GTA. The main charater doesnt talk<----spoiler until he talks in Saints Row 2 which he comes back from a comma<----spoiler.
