20 years ago, most guitarists learned by ear, rewinding and playing tapes over and over again, piece by piece, for hours every day. I still learn this way (albeit faster), but this allows you to pause and rewind with a simple click. This guy isn't going slow. Each part is just a few bars; practice makes perfect! Play and repeat, the song's every note needs to be in your memory completely before you can have in your muscle memory.

guys, sorry but it's not that he's going to fast, it's that your brains are taking too much stuff in to remember so you assume it's the dude going to fast, my advice is just practice say the very first part over and over, then once perfected and glued to your head go to the next part and repeat and so forth

this song is about a 3 or 4 in difficulty. (scale1-10) i have been playing guitar for 7 years and im not as good as id like to be but this came really easy for me. if it seems like alot i would suggest songs like smoke on the water. hey there delilah. even unforgiven 1 is really easy. there are hundreds of songs u can play with 3 chords: G, C, and D. i played songs like that for years( i was very young when i started. im only 15) example- where eagles fly by sammy hagar.

you can hit the 4th string on the tenth fret in place of having to keep your index finger on the fifth fret and having to reach all the way to the ninth fret with your pinky it's the same note and the same octave.
