  • Shut up. Who cares about any of your opinions? Thank goodness when we go to a worship service of any faith, we don't have to hear a slew of youtube comments about what people thought of it. Anythinig on youtube having to do with God gets a million retarded comments and arguments. Just shut up and have real discussions about faith elsewhere. this is so annoying.

  • omg she is good

  • Thank you, Rev. Werner! Amen, sister.

  • Type in "gift" before youtube URL.

  • Deliver us from those who think they're... YOU!

  • this is just a taste of how courageous this album is. Good on you, Susan.

  • Thanks for posting your implied judgment, representing that you care for the soul of Susan Werner if only she would join your chosen fantasy about your religion. If the video makes you sad, consider playing a happy one, or getting a beer, or something.

  • Now this is Gospel I can get behind.

I love Gospel music just not the institution it supports.

  • I slightly disagree. I love Gospel music, just not (some of) the rancid theology within it. This stuff is different.

  • Our church band does her tunes, the real song to hear is "Bring Em All In" only performed, as far as I know, on "A Prairie Home Companion". Luckily, my friend recorded that song. Our band figured out this song--no sheet music was published. So, Susan, when can we get sheet music for Gospel Truth? WOW, what a CD!! If you think she's Agnostic, think again! This is the most spiritual CD around. I love you Susan. God Bless You, MaeMae

  • 5:50 what she says makes all the difference

  • She really has a great voice. I sang background on "My Lord Did Trouble Thee," but somehow my name was left off the credits. It was disappointing, but I still think there are some good songs on here. I like the above mentioned one and "Sunday Morning." In spite of what happened, I would love to sing on the next album too.

  • It's twooo it's twooo. Susan does ruleee!

Everybody is always beating me to the punch...I've long wanted to write some agnostic gospel..or perhaps some jewgrass in the best bluegrass tradition. If someone had to beat me to the pew...I'm glad it was you, Sue!

Love, (not really, but with great admiration..),

    Claudia Jacobs

  • this was a fantastic show. saw SW & TH in Chicago. i did not own the cd until after the show.. every track is amazing. Sunday Morning moved me to tears. If there can be such a thing... after years of religious disappointments and asking too many questions...I would say i am agnostic theist. Love the courage that SW has to put this amazing CD out there. Peace

  • Isn't she wicked! How did I get this old without ever hearing her before!

I thank Galatea's Pants (Lauren Eggert Crowe) for guiding me to this.

I really like one of her early songs, "My Mother's Garden", found as a poem in G's p, also at Susan's dot com.

  • Muy bueno, cálido...

  • Just knocks me out!!!! It's so dang smart it's scary!

  • Werner Rules!!!!!
