Wow, about 20 mins ago I found a shiny Shinx on my Pearl game!

My first shiny on Pearl ever, and I've had the game for about four years!

I was chaining them, and I got to about a chain of 5 when I saw the shiny patch! :)

I just went to target, And baught an arceus tin. Inside was, a regular arceus, and a fighting arceus. I opened more packages and saw a yellow and black shinx... :o I looked up " shiny shinx " and found out that i had got a shiny shinx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( i also have a shiny jolteon... thats all... )

Hm Well seeming with this ts is very fine but there is a way tro get easier things such as this:

every pokemon has an ability

that ability matched with a wild pokemon's ability makes it easier to find one not to catch but to find. that happened to meh cause with snorlax not shiny i hatched around 43 of them and then i got a shiny munchlax :D

It's kind of confusing, but it explains it a little. If you need more help on it, pm me. I can give you the link to the forum where Shuko posted more info on chaining.

Are shiny Shinx really easy to find? I had never reached 40 on my Shinx chain, yet I had gotten 2 shiny Shinx from 2 different chains. The first on a chain of 25 and the second came on a chain of 6. Or am just really lucky?

Hey ive got a story here with an important pokemon lesson:

I was walking around Rock Tunnel after LT.Surge on fire red. I caught an ekans in my last pokeball to get the 20 in my pokedex for the aides Everstone for my wartortle. (route 10 pokemon center). I went into rock tunnel pokeball-less and 2nd encounter was a SHINY FREAKING GEODUDE! and i had no pokeballs. So. lesson:

Personally, I think it might be best to start resetting around 25 if you have a lot of repels, especially if you have terrible luck with chains and rarely get over ten. I've only had two chains above 20; one of them ended at 23 because I messed up, and the other ended at 46 with a failed attempt at catching a shiny.

The radar increases these odds when your chain grows.

The Shinyness is determined when you receive the egg.

So hatching the same egg over and over again doen't work.
