My husband was talking me through my birth like saying " I love you baby , your doing good" and other stuff with my 2nd child MaKaela ..... I miscarried my first baby I lost her when I was 4 months pregnant. Now we have 3 beautiful daughters and expecting another... Just so we r clear there won't be a fifth:)
Well men, you loved being there to make the baby, so man up and be there for the birth. No matter how "stressful" is is for you, your wife in in horrible pain and needs to know you're there. It's not about you, as much as you'd like to think it is.
Men should ALWAYS be in the delivery room. It's half their fault! Get over your fear or act brave and cheer your wife on! During the really scary times, pray that God makes everything ok. Putting your worries in His hands will bring you peace so you can focus on supporting your wife and welcoming your baby.
toughen up princess - couldn't believe how this guy was talking about how stressful it was for him, men being 'scarred for life' - grow -up, wake-up, birth is real, not always pretty, see the beauty in it though instead of feeling sorry for yourself!
@ThisLittleBirdy I see your point, but I give him credit for telling the truth. And if we are being honest here, at one point, when my daughter was about to be born, the doctors moved a giant mirror and positioned it to where I could see what was going on. I immediately asked them to move it but those 3-4 seconds of looking will be with me always. Not in a good way. Yes, birth is beautiful, but I do not want to remember that bloody image of myself, where my skin was literally tearing apart.
@ThisLittleBirdy - True. Some men have this inability to empathize like women do. Also, they want to fix things not connect. So, i can understand his perspective but diagree with it entirely. If he was man enough to make her pregnant than he should be man enough to comfort her when it gets uncomfortable because in reality she is the one in pain not him.
I just want to say this is exactly who i am trying to reach with my video, Please check it out
