  • R154 tranny? What rear diff ratio?

  • @dafrankfuter

Yes R154 with a Tilton twin disc and a 4.10 rear diff.

  • what have you done to the motor?

  • @JdmCd7

In this video all it had was intake, 3" turbo-back, a boost controller (16psi), and a stage 3 clutch.

  • shes a beauty

  • Stock twins?

  • @filachic

This video was on the stock twins....yes.

  • siiiiick bro...mad luv and respect for MKII's down under...when the old 7M finnally goes in me celi supra...in with the 2JZ

  • Shaiza, what'd u do in the quarter mile?

  • @tienshenhan86

Runs low 11's on regular street tires. 10's should be no problem with some sticky tires.

  • sounds great

  • so damn f**king awesome

  • Nice sound! Way to hit that rev limiter!

  • thats not fuel cut your hittin is it?

  • No, it's the 8500rpm rev limiter ;)

  • if only my 7m would do that....ugh

  • It will be revving much higher very soon.

  • @DirtridinElCamino

No that is the 8500 rev limiter. Rev limiter is a spark cut not a fuel cut.

  • Probably, but you may want stiffer springs for that. Mine is really set up for all around performance for street, strip, and a little for road courses.

  • The eibachs and suspension are great. The car rides like it's on rails. I've always like the prokit line of springs from eibach.

The brakes are $950 for the fronts and $850 for the rears iirc. The pads are Hawk brand, which you can buy from any Hawk dealer, or you can get pads directly from Wilwood as well, you just have to be sure to order a street pads and not race pads.

  • sounds good and not too expensive, im thinking thats the route i will go

think the suspension is stiff enough to handle high speed drifting??

  • how much would the swap cost if i had someone else do it

  • Probably $3K - $5K

  • ok ill do it!

thats not too bad actually, especially considering the jump in performance

  • Being that the 1J on the stock twins with a boost controller pushing 16psi and on the stock 14" wheels and tires the car ran a 12.6 @ 114mph, I'd say it's the best swap I've ever done!

  • damn! i'd probably just put it at 12-14psi

what did you do for brakes??

and what about suspension? and all engine upgrades?

  • Now I have a Wilwood Big Brake Kit, Eibach Prokit springs, Tokico and KYB shocks, Addco swaybars, a full set of poly bushings for the suspension, and a rear wheel camber kit. And the wheels are 17x8 in the fronts and 17x9 in the rear. The engine is stock. I have a PT single 62mm turbo with a Greddy Emanage and 650cc injectors. I recently made 520whp at 18psi on 93 octane pump gas.

  • how do you like the eibach springs? they help the car handle real well with those shocks and with the swaybars?

how expensive are the brakes and how big of wheels do you have to have to clear them and where do you get new brake pads when those are running low?

i know a lot of questions but im trying to figure out what to do to my car when i get back from iraq

  • hey wheres the rest of the video?! i wanna see this thing run!

  • thats cool :) keep up the good work!

  • how was it doing up a wiring harness for the !1JZ?

  • That was probably the biggest pain in the install, although now having done it, it would be a bit easier.

  • ive done a swap too, it wasnt as hard as it was timeconsuming. maybe like 2-3 hours of work by yourself

  • I tought this engine swap only existed in my imagination...Man big ups to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Was this a hard build...???

  • No harder than any other swap.

  • On that run I ran a 12.68 @ 112mph. My best so far, without a working tachometer, and with a horribly bogged launch, is a 12.25 @ 122.7mph.

  • fucking sick

  • how hard was it for you to get every thing together to make that 1jz work in your mk2? I'm planning on doing that swap someday...

  • I can't say it was any more work that it takes to put any engine in any car. Some custom parts, a lot of parts that already worked.

  • Nice car..what kinda power?

  • 450rwhp

  • sick as hell

  • sounds beautiful =]

  • nm my post i know who's car this is now. thanks for the ride the other night armin

  • Hope it was good for ya ;) Now it's time for you to make some power!!!

  • tryna come up right behind u man.

  • is this ramsy's car that c&n did?

  • Sounds sexy!
