  • I just lifted weights to this....it was awesome

  • I hope he does more Star Trek Soundtracks. He did such a great job for some of the scores in Enterprise! :D

  • Music begins, and War begins !

  • To clear all misunderstanding : The producers of the Stark Trek movie bought the rights to use the music from Bryan Tyler and asked to TSFH to make a longer version for the trailer.

TSFH didn't steal anything, they just did what they were paid for.

  • were's the choir?

  • The bald guy at the beginning is Nick Pheonix from "Two Steps From Hell"

  • You mean now even orchestral music is SAMPLING other people's music now?!?!

Lord in heaven is NOTHING sampled, remixed, rebooted or remade in this generation?!

This is going to be know as the generation of "Cut and Paste".

Nothing more shameful than a LAZY artist.

  • but, i'll favor it anyway, it's still epic! ...TSFH!!

  • Actually the "War Begins" is 1:10 long track, from Children of Dune composed by Brian Tyler, but "War Begins" is foundation of "Down with Enterprise"

If you need real "War Begins" pm me your e-mail,i have Children of Dune soundtrack i`ll send you "WB"

  • @AlisherUA 'tis true! this is TSFH, completely different than BT's WB.

  • this is awesome.

  • i hear a little bit of requiem for a dream in this.

  • People who listened to RfaD too much even seem to hear it in winnie the pooh songs... -___-

  • Whoa has anybody told Nick Phoenix that he looks kinda like Donald Pleasence ? lol

  • Damn you JJ Abrams. Now I think of your bastard movie whenever I hear this track.

    <3 Brian Tyler

  • He didn't do this. This is by Two Steps of Hell. The bald guy at the beginning of the video managing the mixing console is Nick Phoenix, he composed this, not brian tyler.

  • but bryan tyler was the original composer of this track it is called war begins and it is on the dune series that was shown a while back. two steps from hell reused it and tbh unless your a music nerd you cant tell the difference between the 2 other than tempo

  • Come one, the difference is clear and I just checked and Nick Phoenix posted a disclamer stating that a part of the beginning (1:00 - 1:30) was part of that brian tyler song but the main part is Two Steps From Hell (Nick Phoenix).

  • I just dont understand why Two Steps From Hell don't release an album for the public to buy. Thats lame to me.

  • They´re gonna do it. Check their website.

  • @badseed136 sorry, but you're wrong. Brian Tyler composed this for The Children of Dune. Two Steps of Hell re-recorded this for the Star Trek Trailer.

  • Read my comment below, I explained my statement. I don´t wanna rewrite it.

  • lol goood music

  • Star Trek (XI) trailer 2 music :D

  • i need this music to play whenever i enter a room or merge onto the freeway. it would make it so much more epic

  • Can i be your wing man?

  • lol for sure man

  • @joshtopher27

I agree with you when you or i enter a room this music should play loud!

  • And by the way, not Bryan but >> BRIAN Tyler

  • I did find the "Children Of Dune" album, yet the "War Begins" track is shorter than the one featured in this video :(

  • Oh shit. He did this? I should have known. I hope i get to meet him one day. He is by far my favorite composer.

  • ahhh! its so epic! I just came a little. i think i need a cold shower.

  • wtf is wrong with you?

  • i came buckets.

  • thats a little for me... LOL, if you cum that much on a regular basis, go to a doctor, there is something wrong with you.

  • good music here man keep it up it is sweet old man.people can you say tucumcari i am from tucumcari new mexico. louie ouch???

  • sweet

  • I'd want the world to hear this piece with every step I take, just like Peter Griffin and his theme music lol

  • this is down with the enterprise dipshit

  • as a band geek.

this music makes me want to piss myself.

    amazing.

  • Google, torrents are your friend.

  • I can't find a torrent for this version, though. Can someone who has it just upload it to rapidshare or mediafire?

  • THe name is Two steps from hell (author), the album is Legend. I already have it. + The Volume 1

  • Well then, can you put it on rapidshare?

  • Well I actually downloaded the albums via torrent, My upload speed is rubbish, so If you can go to a torrent site type in "Two steps from hell" and hopefully you will find them. They are very good.

  • star trek is the best movie to date.

  • I got out of school! WOOH! 2:00

  • For shame it wasn't used in the actual film, THATS MY ONLY GRIPE I saw it last Friday, GOING AGAIN THIS FRIDAY!!!! FUCK YEAH!

  • Hell YEA!!! Im getting out of School at abou 12:00 to see this!!

  • FUCK YEAH!

  • great to see this being filmed.

  • The song is called, "Down with the Enterprise" and is created by "Two Steps from Hell".

  • finally i get to listen to this song without the voices from the trailer!

  • Brilliant Work!

  • Amazing!

  • Superb music composition! Excellent!

    Dave

  • If the rest of the soundtrack for the new Star Trek movie sounds like this, I am definitely buying it. I love this kind of music. It is real inspirational.

  • it's by brian tyler and from the children of Dune soundtrack, u should listen to the rest of the pieces on the soundtrack if you like this 1, he's fuckin amasing!

  • Comment removed

  • I apollogize, my bad. I thought it was WB because I've listened to the trailer a dozen times and the music differs a little bit from this one. Specially when it changes the pace at 1:15.5, when they say to Spock "[...]which path will you choose." I hear the music (I don't know about music language) goes from high to low. In that moment the Enterprise goes to Warp speed. That micro segment is the one I cannot hear in this video. And it all sounds slightly different in pitch. To me, that is.

  • It's because they licensed this music and used the talented people from Two Steps From Hell to remix it. Great piece of music though

  • If anyone can find me an audio-sample of the drum beat that's used in the trailer, I can edit it into the score to make it sound like the trailer.

  • Damn.. it's missing the deep drum beat that should happen right at 1:04 of this video, which happens in the trailer.. making it sound more epic. Makes me want to find a drum sound of one of those drums they use and edit it in. Unless there's already a version out there that has that extra drum sound...?

  • This is NOT "Down with the Enterprise". It is indeed "War Begins" from Dune. AFAIK Two Steps from Hell made a re-orchestration of this track to create DWtE for the trailer. Listen carefully and you'll find the subtle but significant differences. However, both blow my socks off!!

  • No, it isn't. It's down with the enterprise. You're the one who needs to listen to the differences. I agree about being subtle but significant, but this is different to War Begins

  • The music was composed by Bryan Tyler. It IS War Begins. It was re-orchestrated in parts for the ST trailer, but that does not make it a different piece altogether. Even if people online are calling it one thing, it doesn't make it so; it is still War Begins.

  • You know what, I was wrong. After breaking out the soundtrack, I can hear now that they're completely different. However, in the trailer version of this piece, it does take musical cues from War Begins and weaves them into the piece. This video, however, contains none of those musical cues, so yes, you were right, it is an entirely unique piece. Still though, the very fact that it can have War Begins woven through it shows what Michael Giacchino was influenced by. I say great job on this.

  • Brian Tyler's "War Begins" is a lot shorter than this one here. I believe this video is for the Star Trek trailer.

  • um, WRONG, this song is INDEED "Down With The Enterprise" by Two Steps From Hell, this piece (Down With The Enterprise, is a so-called remix OF Brain Tyler's "War Begins" They are both quite different pieces if you have ever actually heard War Begins? but it is Down with the enterprise as it seems to EXACTLY match the song Down With the Enterprise on the Two Steps from Hell album "Legend" might want to do a bit more research

  • You are 100% Correct, this is 'Down with the Enterprise' by Two Steps from Hell. I have it on their album 'Legend'. Brian Tyler scores the music for the website and the actual film.

  • this is from Children of Dune and used in the trailer of Star Trek. This will not be used in the actual film!

  • It's a remix from a track from Children of Dune, but yes, it will not be used in the film. Brian Tyler and two Steps from Hell make (AWESOME) music for film trailers.

  • Actually it's Michael Giaccino

  • is it on itune?

  • This music sends shivers down my spine, all the way to my ballsack.

  • That's just me, Gustav.

  • lol yea me too , glad to see im not the only one =D

  • Why is your ballsack at the base of your spine?

  • Isn't obvious? He an Alien!

  • O they just think they deserve to rule it, so "retake" in the sense of "retake what is "rightly" theirs" im sure heh.

  • wow. its so unfortunate that this music is unavailable on iTunes. where can i get it????!!!

  • it's not war beggins it's down with the enterprise by two steps from hell from legend album

  • but is it on i tune- they need to post this on itune or lose money da

  • go download tube tilla

  • To all who are looking for the music, the music is actually called Down with the Enterprise, by Two Steps from Hell :P

  • I just came in my pants. This orchestral piece completely kicks ass. They should play this for all our troops just before they have to enter a firefight. This is the music you expect to hear when Satan and his minions rises from hell to retake earth. Damn.

  • Retake earth? When have they ever ruled it?

  • I'm sure they did at some point, and we just don't know about it.

  • It all started on earth. Among the books you can find several clues that the Atreides wore the British, Harkonnen the russians, Ix the japanese, and the Sardaukaar the german nazi fanatic armies.

At some point discovering Terra and the origins of the houses would mean a great understanding of concept and social/military organization strategies and so military advantage. What can I say... Frank Herbert kicked ass...

  • I love this music 5*

  • ok, for the download of this song; i'm offering SOMEONE ELSES left nut.

  • I have the soundtrack to Children of Dune, but Track 9 isn't as extended as this version of the song is. Does anyone know where to find this version for purchase?

  • Well played, Good Sir!

I don't mind paying .99 cents, but iTunes wanted me to buy the entire album to get this.

    Thank you!

  • you are the man thanks a mill.

  • This is like a fucking orgasm in my ear :) I love epic orchestral pieces !!!

  • as soon as i saw the amazing trailer i went looking for the music, i take my hat off to you sir for uploading!

  • Sure thing :)

  • Could it be a mix of this song and "Down With the Enterprise" by Two Steps from Hell from their Legend II collection, Track #2?

  • You mean this: /watch?v=aiDhHHuGHS8 ?? That could be it! Nice ears!

  • @doctormemory that song is a remix of this :)
