@mollielie its actually the easiest accent to learn, i have a perfect american and have never been taught english, never went to usa. 1980s cartoons all the way, its actually the easiest english accent there is too do. Ats why we have more brits now a days doing american accents than the other way around. Just look at any Tom Cruise doing a british accent movie and you'll see the difference.

ALSO an accent is only an accent to those listening from a certain perspective. If you are from NYC u would say u dont have an accent, if you are from the deep south u would say you dont have an accent but when one listens to the other he/she would say you have a new york/southern accent. Overall USA pronounces words differently than the UK.. USA purposely set up a diff spel/pron. format to unify and distinguish US from Great Britain. I like it, but she's sneaking some Jersey/Brooklyn in there. And I believe her "o" sound is sounding a bit northern-mid-west. She's hitting the true vowel sound for o, which Americans rarely do. We usually start with the ə sound then move to the ʊ. Brits often have the full ʌoʊ for the o sound, so it's an easy mistake.
