die ganzen spiele was nach code veronica x kam ist einfach nur müll, find die alten teile von ps1 und ps2 viel besser! resident evil 5 war der totale schrott und hat eigentlich mit den alten teilen nicht mehr viel gemeinsam! ich vermisse den alten gamespaß mit neuer tollen grafik! claire redfield hat resident evil gerockt und eine tolle atmosphäre ins spiel gebracht!

Oh, yeah? And the scenes are from the console versions? Unfortunately this is the worst PC port i've ever seen. :( Thanks to Ubisoft... Afterall the game is awesome. Finished it more than million times, and not the crappy PC port, but the original GameCube version. ;) Only from the GC version missing the Separate Ways campaign... :(

actually, while the cut-scenes in this suck, a really bad port of the PS2 version, the in-game graphics are in fact SUPERIOR to the gamecube version, at least, if you play the patched European version of RE4 which I was lucky enough to come across.

how do you know a game is the European version? Games released for Europe, always have a multi language option for the in-game instructional text.

Word of warning though, I hope you remember how the PS2 version was mapped because remaping the controls is a PAIN.

like the other dude said, you have to take on pro mode.

word of the wise, on pro mode, its smart to get good at knifing ganados in the face at first, if you shoot them you will run out of ammo FAST, as the ganados are much stronger on pro mode.

Here's what you do (at first); let ganados follow you around until a crowd builds up, then have them follow you to a narrow confine. Knife the lead ganado in the face, and kick.  Repeat the process until the crowd is taken care of.

Use that tactic as often as possible, until you have had time to gather some treasure and money and then IMMEDIATELY upgrade your shotgun, and machine gun. Don't bother with the pea shooter (the 9 mil), you upgrade to the Red 9 IMMEDIATELY when it becomes available. Final bit of advice; use ALL the guns. The mine launcher, the machine gun, the red 9, the shotgun, and the rocket launcher for Salazar's right hand when he freezes, and "It" on your first run of pro mode.

If you are an RE4 "professional" mode virgin, trust me on this; you need ALL the guns, and you will need the rocket launcher against Salazar's right hand, and "It." Without the rocket launcher you won't get past them if its a first run.

oh yeah, one more thing; when upgrading guns, emphasize fire power, and your priorities are Red 9, Shotgun, mine thrower, and machine gun, in that order.

again, don't forget; against Salazar's right hand, a.k.a. "verdugo," you will NEED that rocket launcher, on professional mode, the elevator does not come, you HAVE to kill him.

In professional mode you do, if its a first run. If its a first run pro mode, Verdugo is nearly impossible to kill without the Rocket Launcher.

Besides, rocket launcher's faster, and against the likes of Verdugo I do not care to have that boss fight drag out.
