  • nice n neatly done, appreciate ur work )...

please visit my video, posted just yesterday

  • Reallly Nice! What kind of fish is the white with black stripes and yellow face?

  • Are Cichilds hard fish to care for?

  • @iJacksFishTanks

Not really, they need a stable pH in the 7.5-8.5 range and temps 78-80. The hardest part is feeding them the right food because they tend to get what's called malawi bloat if they have food with too much protein. Use crushed coral to buffer the pH, get a good heater and filter, and use NLS Cichlid Formula and you're good to go.

  • This is so pretty! The water is so fresh and clean and the fish look really healthy! One of my favorites!

  • Awesome tank!

  • This video got thinking differently about how I was going to do my cichlid tank. I loved it so much my tank has shades of this setup. I just wish it was 180 gallons and as nice as this one.

  • what kind of background you used?

  • my dream tank

  • Check my video out , its has much more florescent colours and big fish

(list of the names of fish in the description)

  • this seems like a new tank...

  • wow thats a lot. i TOO HAVE AFRICAN CICHLIDS in a 55 gallon but I want to get a 75 to 100 gallon with in the next 4 to 5 months

  • How'd you get your water so crystal clear like that?

  • What did you use for the landscaping? is that drifwood or rocks?

  • Nice

  • wow that is a nice tank. the fish are very colorfull. To be honest i usally like saltwater fish but there are nice frestwater fish too. But it seems that u have to get agressive fish for color and size the community fish lack size and color. Do you know if these fish would go good with tiger oscars and convicts of the same size? If someone can email me about it. and what do tigers and covicts about 2 in like to eat? thank you. email is ems19792002@yahoo.com

  • nice tank man

  • where did you get those rocks?

  • Nice fish...

  • very nice 5*

i used to have them too, long time ago

  • Semplicemente stupendo ! :D Anche io ho un acquario da 120 litri e ho questi meravigliosi pesci ! Complimenti davvero ..

  • my fish tank is cloudy ...HOW TO I MAKE IT CLEAR....PLZ HELP

  • @gblack12 you literally have to keep changing water like 90-100%, clean out all the gravel. Then just whatever you were feeding your fish, feed them less.

  • @gblack12 another than water changes i guarantee you that marineland premium activated carbon will keep your water crystal clear

  • Frontasa is the best cichlid ever

  • Its so quiet you can hear a clock ticking, and me farting! O.o

  • HEY check my chichlid tanks out as well!! pleas comment thanks!

  • I love the mbunas especially that red top zebra check out my cichlids I payed over 1 thousand for!!

  • I looooooove African chichlids, I have a 65 litre tank - would this be big enough? and for how many? and what ones shall i start with :P I'm saving for a bigger tank which i could put them in if the 65 litre is not big enough-

Thanks(: - Great tank btw, its awesome!

  • @Ettio137 thats 16.3 gallons i dont think its big enough for them

  • very nice tank. what kind of filtration system do u use for such a big tank? im new in this and id like to have a big one like that when i move over to my new house

  • I've heard alot about overcrowding cichlids to reduce aggression, is this the case? i currently have 8 along with and multi plunctatus sinidontis(sorry if the spellings off lol) but they are all really aggressive since we lost a few due to sickness or old age.. (we had 12) we have a 40 gallon would adding more make a difference in the aggression?

  • great fish i got some too.

  • very nice!!! keep up the good work!

  • had the same issue with the brown alge, All I did was leave the light off for about a week and did not feed the cichlids and they started munching on the alge and it looks a ton better.

  • That is amazing!

  • gorgeous

  • nice that how my fish tank gonna be like

  • great tank, love cichilds. now i have a 65 gallon tank and i want more cichilds, but i have no idea how many. i already have 4 yellow labs and 1 albino scolofi (dont know if thats the right name), plus a sailfin pleco and some yoyo loaches. someone told me 4 yellow labs was too many for a 65 gallon, but then ive seen videos of people with a 55 gallon tank with over 30 cichilds in it and they are all healthy, dont fight and have great colouring and are not stressed.

    need a reply asap! ta

  • what's the name of the first fish you zoom in on?

  • What's the blue stripes yellow face species at 0:18?

  • @deeisneat looks to be mostly ice blue cichlid with small yellow lab mix , depends on how well the male defends his mate so other males dont breed with the female....

  • Two words: well done! Just wish I had the money and space for a tank that size!

  • Wre do you get yours? Order them? They are all so pretty please E-mail and tell me more! roccafox66@yahoo.com

  • i only have goldfish but when i get older i rly want to get tropicals like that

  • Evan Almighty lols

  • great video m8. i have gone 45kg texas rock in my mbuna 55g set up and im getting brown algae. i kind of like it but at the same time i dont wanna see too much of it. this is my 1st tank ever & i have reduced the light time & im going to reduce the amount i feed them. I have a synonodotis muhipunctatus in there so hopefully he will help. Any ideas would be great like should i just leave the algae? clean it off the rocks?. doing a 30% water change today for the 1st time, hope this helps..

  • Absolutely 5*, Fantastic Mbuna tank with plenty of : room, filtration, etc. Very Nice !

  • Filipino boi, you should only feed the twice a day and only as much as they can eat in less than 3 minutes.

  • I have a question! I have no idea if I have Cichlids, It looks like those but my fishies are smaller. I have Yellows, Blue -- Purple kind of thing, and orange, I have 9 fishies and I don't know how many time I have to feed them everyday, I saw that since they are small I need to feed them 3 times a day? Or do I have to feed them 1 time a day?

Someone please answer! I need an answer, I just got my fishies today and cost me somewhere around $90, and I don't want them to die! D:

  • @aznfilipinoboi . i had 4 small cichlids in my tank about an inch long. (so they tiny). I was told to feed them once a day roughly the size of a new 10 pence piece. not much at all, if you over feed them it can cause more ammonia in the tank & nitrates but my fish seem to eat everything i give them^^. I now have 12 in there & feed them twice a day. just a little more than i did for the 4. Hope this helps.

  • @drunkanmaster Thanks for the info! :D

  • your setup is impressive. great job. take a look at my cichlid setup

  • very beautiful and relaxing, this setup is much much much better than any monster fish tank with ugly catfish, bass, gar, arowana, arapaima

i wanna make one like yours!

  • hey what kind of background is that have to know plz? and how many would you recommend for a 30G?

  • good stuff try americans and flowerhorns some day they dont make for as sweet of a community though

  • Simply beautiful!

  • @jasndeb25 Nice colorful fishes and nice setup. You should checkout mines.

  • yep, honestly cablethrash, w/ aggressive fish like these, overcrowding is recommended, provided you have the filtration for it. the fish look to be in great health actually.

  • This has to be a $hundred-thousand setup, right?! What a breathtaking sight!!

  • real nice..how many gallons is that tank?

  • lovely fish!!

can you spot my cichlids in my tank

    youtube.com/watch?v=AXRAQDroeoc

  • Very nice tank my friend! Great job.

  • Can anyone tell me the amount of cichlids that can be put in a 180 gallon tank ?? Pls do tell right species as I'm new 2 cichlids ..

  • how do you conceal the filters and heaters so well? any recommendations on what to use for the background? I've got a 125g African Cichlid tank, and am thinking about going with a gravel substrate instead of the pebble rock that I currently have. Is the sand easier/harder to maintain? and are there any advantages to having that instead of pebble rock? Thanks

  • really cool tank man. i love cichlids

  • You have one of the nicest Mbuna tanks I have ever seen. That is really nice lighting. It really brings out the color in the fish.

  • I have 2 yellow ones and 2 of the horizontal striped ones, and I payed $25, so you sir are a mad fish breeder or some multibillionaire

  • @MichaelMaleszyk i have some this fishes and one cost about 2 euro, and when i buy this fish from some other guys, i pay 1 euro for a fish

  • @MichaelMaleszyk

    xaxaxaxa

  • nice cichlid tank i subbed

  • Beautiful fish....Do you have to remove your rock to clean your tank? This is an open question for anyone here. I have a Cichlid tank with a ton of lace rock, and find that I have to remove my rock to get a thorough crushed coral cleaning done. Any thoughts?

  • i breed manganos

  • can some specialist fish recomend me a carnivorous and predatory ciclhid with 6 inch or less ?

  • is it ok if a fish tank is all female or all male? i dont want to breed.

  • Great tank man. Where did you get those rocks in the background? Just fish stores?

  • This is a beautiful tank full of healthy fish. Thanks for sharing, I have just started a 55 gal. tank, with only 7 African Cichlids. I love them, I think I have it understocked though. Your's is truly a wonderful tank.

  • Actually having more fish cuts down the aggression. Gorgeous tank. I want one! How do you get a dark background like that? Really shows off the colours of the fish.

  • wow awfull those are all aggressive fish you shouldnt keep them together each species needs its own space and they have territory in their nature you can tell that they are all stressed out and aggressive

  • @CABLETHRASH Colours look good, water looks good, they don't look stressed to me and i have had cichlids for 15 years! Shows how much you know!

  • @lungbo I agree. They do not look stressed just busy. Like they should be! And most of them he has in there will not get bigger than 4 inches.

  • @lungbo you are right M8, these fish look great and healthy. I have also kept Mbuna for a long time, although i dont currently have any :-( . they dont look stressed at all,

the are clustering together at the end becuase someone is near the tank and they think they are getting fed... mine did this all the time, they learn it pretty quick.

  • Cool tank check out my tank

  • Beautiful! Are those real plants? What kind of rocks? Is the back glass painted black?

  • @bleewicket Hi I have a question for you on my cichlides what is a good food source to feed them if I would like for them to breed quickly thankyou for your feedback. Mark

  • @markshells1972 nightcrawlers/earthworm....watever you want to call them, have been known to increase breeding activities in fish.

  • Very nice malawis and setup

  • agreed... very nice...

  • This is probably the best looking fish tank on all of Youtube. I've seen this same video dozens of times. It's everywhere.
