  • @njAAron56 I think he was only a professional wrestler, i don't know if he had any actual wrestling skills. I don't know much about professional wrestling either, so I don't know if any actual wrestling skills are taught in professional wrestling.

  • @gavinator14 Generally speaking, most professional wrestlers have a good amount of experience in amateur wrestling as well. In Bill's case though, you learn a lot of basic wrestling/grappling skills from playing professional defensive line.

  • I'm never going to Home Depot again, I'm gonna tell all of my lady friends to not use that stupid eyeliner or lipstick. And I'm gonna tell all my buddies to stop using Gillette. I guess thats what the advertisement people wanted!!!

    fuck heads

  • you are all idiots

  • Thumbs up if you watched this episode just to see all the mma royalty in action.

  • @HistoryHmoobGuy idiot

  • wait...wasnt bill a wrestler? double leg take down is a basic wrestling take down

  • "SPLIT'EM! SPLIT'EM! SPLIT'EM! SPLI-" "Bill, SHUT UP!"

  • "every fighting style from all nations all over the world" ???

    FAIL ....

    Asians invented fighitng !!!...

  • @HistoryHmoobGuy no black people were the first to fight then when all the over races evolved from blacks they learned to fight

  • @HistoryHmoobGuy when fighting was first invented asia did not exist only the section of pangea that would become asia. fighting is the natural instinct of punching and kicking when angry.and by the way all martial arts are actually predacessors to pankration which was spread acroos the known world of that time by alexander the great planting the seed for all fighting styles of europe asia and the mediterranean

  • @historybuff743 Damn your droppin some knowledge. You got that shit right

  • @YoungRapperWL97 Thank You!

  • fat man was turtling...that wasnt a fucking draw lol

  • an eddie bravo brown belt hit a twister? no waaaaaaay lol

  • i love how MMA guys love to cite ancient greece all the time. especially when greco roman culture and mention of traditional greco roman wrestling disppeared in the 1300 and only retured to use when a italian circus wrestler renamed his french style of wrestling so that more ppl would see his shows. all those take down pre date greece. or civilization for that matter.

  • lol 15:50 ooOOOooo...

  • wasn't Jason an MMA fighter?

  • am i the only one who recognized the ref from bully beat down lol

  • He who gets caught the least, wins!!!

  • He who gets caught the least, wins!!!

  • @choyleefutkid1 you don't know what you talk about and it is obvious. Punching hard isn't everything by the way.

  • @choyleefutkid1 How does my name containing "MMA" have anything to do with what I do and don't understand? And it has MMA because I actually TRAIN mixed martial arts, I'm not a fanboy who watches too much UFC. The fact that I train MMA means that I train boxing as well. How hard a person hits has less to do with what discipline they practice and more to do with, simply, how hard they hit. Now, unless you have some experience, stop arguing with everyone. You just look like a troll.

  • @griggsMMA Well actually it is possible for a boxer to hit harder cause they condition, strengthen thier arms, knuckles, hands for many years which make them hit 'really' hard. MMA can make you just as 'at least' a hard hitter but it dosent matter cause as an a MMArtist your a mixed variation of the greatest arts,Exmple: I can hook, uppercut you get low and do a takedown ,ground and pound and your done.Dont listen to that troll

  • @Ascenscion123 yeah, I get what you're saying. But my point was that not all boxers hit harder than all mixed martial artists. Statistically, the figures likely lean toward boxers due to their emphasis on punching, but everyone is different. It's impossible for a generalized statement such as "boxers hit harder than MMA fighters" to carry any weight. So yeah, I agree.. it IS possible for a boxer to hit harder. But it's also possible for an MMA fighter to hit harder. Just depends who it is.

  • @griggsMMA Yeah but I will say this MOST Boxers hit harder than MMArtists also MMArtists dont tend to condition thier bodies like boxers do.If I were to become a professional I would learn Muay Thai for 3 years then BJJ and Judo for 3 years and then take MMA cause my body would be conditioned and trained. But here is my question to the world about the best stance in MMA or a real fight thiers two stances a striking stance and a grappling stance but theres no stance for in between

  • @Ascenscion123 conditioning for MMA is pretty rigorous, trust me. Besides, the conditioning and training is about the same as boxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, etc... except it includes all of those instead of one. If you compare training of a top-tier boxer and a top-tier mixed martial artist, the MMA fighter probably has the more grueling sessions due to the nature of an MMA bout. An example: throw a boxer into a grappling match. Most will be gassed in minutes.

  • @griggsMMA as far as the best stance, in MMA one needs to be able to switch stances for different opponents/styles. For example, the 45-degree boxing stance might be dangerous against a good wrestler (be ready to sprawl), while a more traditional Thai stance (tall, little head movement) could be dangerous against a good boxer or grappler. The grappling stance (low, loaded stance) could be dangerous vs. a striker of any kind. Trick is being able to adapt to a variety of skillsets.

  • @griggsMMA All those examples are just possibilities. Each individual discipline has weaknesses that can be exposed by other disciplines were they to meet. That's basically MMA's biggest challenge: being comfortable no matter where the fight goes. Speaking on stance again, my own stance is almost a hybrid of boxing/Muay Thai (more weight on the toes) so I'm ready to throw/check leg kicks and defend takedowns, but I can still maintain good boxing defense as well.

  • @choyleefutkid1 To say boxers hit harder than MMA fighters is wildly inaccurate. It's sorta like saying cars are faster than trucks. It's just not always true. Boxing is just one facet of MMA. MMA is not a style, it's a vast collection of styles (and it's not exactly the same for each individual fighter) so to say a "boxer can beat an MMA fighter" is silly, even in a boxing-only match. Anyone can be beat.

  • @choyleefutkid1

    if you say so.

  • @choyleefutkid1

even though many other fighters including pro boxers move over to mma? If you say so, but yeah, later.

  • @choyleefutkid1

actually, boxers have brain damage because of head hits cumulating over the years. Also, you didn't make your case. MMA is a very new sport, very little statistical inference can be taken. Not to mention brain injury is greater than mma because boxing is striking inclusive. however, the overal injury in mma is similar to other combat sports. However, ultimately, it's not the technique you use, but where you aim at. enough force at the temple will kill anyone.

  • @choyleefutkid1 a roundhouse kick can kill. a roundhouse kick to the temple by a skilled fighter can fracture a person's skull. the fracture would cause bleeding, not mention cause fractures in the brain.the subsequent fall from the victim would cause another concussion, and probably more fractures in the brain, causing several brain hemmorages. The punches are very punishing too, as most mma punches are direct copies from boxing. Don't forget mma isnt a style, just copies of other styles

  • @choyleefutkid1

how so? although its not a singular martial art, the techniques used by other styles can cripple and kill

  • My friend put me in a twister, that shit hurts!!!

  • Comment removed

  • heavy weight fights are so boring, and then feather weight fights have no knock outs ever. welter weight and middle wieght for the win!

  • I like this Rico, you don't see modest MMA fighters much nowadays.

  • Bas has belts in karate and tae kwon do not judo that was a mistake in production i guess. He has stated in many forums he learned grappling on his own.

  • According to wikipedia he is a blackbelt in karate and taekwondo

  • Bas did judo....o.o I thought he said he learn grappling on he's own o.O

  • I feel like the thing holding MMA back is its tight rules. Sure, its a good sport, but MMA fighters are used to rules. I think it could be alot more IF it wasn't so...You know. tight.

  • I wish I was a fagot, then I could play football and fight with the other fagots ..

  • the fight was fake as hell

  • hhhmmmm John McCarthy... never backdown anyone

  • how was Bill a wrestler? :S

  • I got to meet bill

  • @Daninja42 Where? When?

  • @PICSDEMON At a martial arts tournament, he was just watching

  • @DarkAndrew12345 they would have to get fat XD

  • LMAO!

  • how was he having trouble with the double leg when he was a wrestler??

  • @123456789bigbear well if ya look at it he is a huge guy, he probably was aheavy weight and heavy weights really never take shots. they mostly do throws or tosses or tilts.

  • @xXpr3sXx i guess but i used to wrestle as a heavy weight and most of the kids i wrestle took shots at me

  • 19:08

  • I wouldn't want to fight with one of those 3d models.

    They really look tough.

  • Bill and Jason put up some nice effort this one. I was impressed.

  • more like a sparing session

  • Too bad this show go canceled, i really wanted to see them do Sumo Wrestling.

  • Eddie Bravo is a Jedi master! The twister came in handy for Jason.

  • lol crazy math for the moves xD

  • @sipplet2009 People are crying because youtube used to be free WITHOUT the ads, and then they were bought out by google or something.

  • Look at thpse punches

  • Great!

I was glad to see Jason bit his big mouth opponent.

    And Bill was pretty impressive.

  • @MrProfTeach

its true. Rico didn't even try against . No power punches.and bills boxing is terrible. I agree jason looked good though.

  • The double leg takedown is pretty much the first move you learn in wrestling.

But somehow bill is a wrestler

  • you gies are weired

  • how about this don,t f with grey guys

  • jason chambers is already an mma fighter

  • ads >:( fuck u corp. fucks

  • @vsallbutme Is waiting 30 seconds to watch a video really that unbearable? Also, just like sipplet2009 said, if there weren't any ads on youtube, then we would be paying for it instead of it being free. So just quit your bitching.

  • @sipplet2009 Free? It is free nonetheless dude, if they charged a membership fees, then they lose viewers. And who are the people posting these videos? Viewers. Youtube like every company just wants to increase revenue every way they can with these ads.

  • look at them ears

  • Comment removed

  • @sipplet2009 YouTube was free before the ads. Google's purchase of YouTube is what currently drives the ads.

  • @PandawdyBob Agreed. The advertising companies realized how many millions of people watch videos on youtube making airtime sought after. Youtube is just cashing in

  • Forrest griffin is the pound for pound best fighter in the world? I understand you're trying to be respectful, but come on..

  • lol. The big guy was practicing kicks with shoes on O.o

  • @Iwishiwerethird their wrestling shoes

  • @dagreg32 Haha really? fair enough. I just think it was funny watching him kick a bag with shoes on. :)

  • @Iwishiwerethird What's wrong with practicing kicks with shoes on? If you get mugged in real life and want to kick the mugger I don't think you will be kicking without shoes on.

  • @G0llum3000 Haha nothing, just looked funny to me cuz i'm always used to practicing martial arts barefoot. It's awkard for me to kick with shoes on. Nothin wrong with it, just looked funny to me at first :)

  • I go to that gym:) big john McCarthy's ultimate training academy

  • @sipplet2009 sometime people is complain too much lol.

  • this budweiser ad makes me want to die... slowly

  • NO MORE ADS!!!!!!!! LOL

  • i just watch to learn moves

  • @sipplet2009 not really. it was free before with no ads. i thought th whole point of the internet was for no commercials. i guess the american dream is fading by the minute

  • Comment removed

  • @stk931 I thought the point of Youtube was to share videos... and the whole point of putting ads to gain more money... which is actually helping the Youtube owners and more Americans gain money and fulfill there wishes... Which means the American Dream is still up and pumping healthy (for the most part) ... am I correct sir?

  • @TheRepublicPanda welll i guess. as long as the ads arent on porn then its ok

  • @stk931 Well as long as the Adult business does things legally because child pornagraphy is something that needs to stopped immediatly.

  • @TheRepublicPanda right. i agree, child pornography is yucky. but i dont see how that came up

  • @stk931 Doesn't really matter I'm just trying to male this conversation go as long as possible...

  • @TheRepublicPanda oh alright

  • @stk931 So... hows it... hows it going?

  • @TheRepublicPanda well im doin pretty good. ya know just lookin for work. and you?

  • Rico got fat! And you can tell that they were going at sparring speed. But its a tv show not a real fight.

  • MMA has come so far. The old heavy weights sucked. Both fights were far below par for cage fighting today.

  • @devmanl thats bc old MMA was just bar brawlers and wrestlers...thats why the Gracies dominated which their Jiu jitsu.....now days most every fighter is versatile meaning they are boxers, muay thai fighters, bjj black belts, wrestlers, and etc...now days if you do not have a stand up game and a ground game...you dont belong in MMA...

  • @sipplet2009 why don't we all get adblock

  • how come they dont post the unedited fights? they should post em seperately

  • those kung fu vs boxing fights they talked about? yeah, they need to have that. how cool would it be to see the different styles face off? I would watch the hell out of that, way more than boxing or mma

  • Good thing that when the ads are on, I'm reading the comments or the video info. :D

  • @choyleefutkid1 well thank you im having a great day and how bout yourself lad? but muscles do matter in fact more muscle more oxygen needed to get to those granite guns but technique does overcome all you do know your facts in that sense but in mma if you didnt know in order to keep you watching they must put great with not so great to make one guy look like superman so next time he fights you hopefully buy the ppv and its great to see that you see what i see when watching bs,it shows ur good i

  • bill duff remindes me of homer simpson XD

  • @choyleefutkid1 YOU MUST BE 125LBS SOAKING WET,I AM A FIGHTER AND BIGGER GUYS HAVE HEAVY LEGS AND IF THEY WORKED AS HARD AS THE MIDDLEWEIGHTS AT KICKING,THEN NO MATTER HOW MUCH A KUNG FU 145LB MASTER KICKED A 245LB 6 4 HUMAN WILL KICK HARDER THAN THE MASTER IF THEY TRAINED THE EXACT SAME WAY YOU UNEDUCATED DONKEY!!

  • i dont like how there is no mention to jiu jitsu which is the reason there is an mma and was proven the best style in 1992 at the first ufc so far 7 minutes and 3 seconds in no mention wow

  • fUCK THESE ADS AND FUCK MADDEN 2O12 YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZZZZZZZZZZZZUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  • Yay!

They finaly get to show off theyr OWN style!

  • EL GUAPO!

  • Like

  • Bill does not have abs but have muscular arms?!

  • Los Angeles, "The Mecca?" try Las Vegas you loser. This is where it's at.

  • 15:53 Cung Le Hahahaha

  • he got the twister!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • There are thousands of martial artists, yet they choose Bill Duff. Good one, History Channel.

  • HAHAHAHA

Bill: I'm gonna avoid it going to the ground.

Later... Bill: Striking has never been my strong suit.

    STICK TO FOOTBALL BILL

  • Bill wore shoes in the octagon...

  • I appreciate the discipline and athleticism of the MMA fighters, but I find the reverence of spirit in piece in the pure martial arts to be really appealing. Seems there is generally less ego in those branches. To each their own

  • @oklahomma Truth is it doesn't really matter what style but more on the person using it, whether it's MMA, Jiu Jitsu, ground fighting, a tough fighting sport or a traditional practitioner such as Kung fu, TKD, wu shu, etc, if the person has the right attitude is all that matters. Where a guy in a MMA gym can have an ego or to a guy at a traditional dojo that does Pray Mantis moves having an ego problem, if neither have the right discipline, both lose the spirit.

  • @helmet122 Ah good point. It comes down to the individual indeed. What I was trying to say was that the spirit seems to be built into the 'dojo' martial arts institutions, and is part of the routine. But you are right, all that can be lost to ego.

  • @oklahomma In fact when a guy from a Kung fu dojo thinks he's the best with all his moves with an ego problem is worse than a competitive MMA guy that fights in full contact in rings taking punches, kicks and submissions with ego. An ego Kung fu guy most likely would only prove themself against an average joe who doesn't know how to fight rather than want to take on a beating from a devistating striker or grappler in a cage ring that fight for a living who take hits to the head an body.

  • @oklahomma no one asked asshole

  • @mcnutt1991 YOU JUST MAD CAUSE YOU GOT OWNED,ITS NOT ABOUT SKILL OR THE STYLE YOU PRACTICE,ITS ALL ABOUT YOURSELF AND HOW FAR YOU WANT TO TAKE YOUR BODY AND MIND,ONE THING IS FOR SURE THAT IF YOU WALK AROUND THINKING YOU KNOW EVERYTHING ALL THE TIME,YOUR TOO BUSY FULL OF YOURSELF TO LEARN FROM WHAT IS AROUND YOU TRUE MASTERS NEVER CLAIM TO BE THAT BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO BUSY LEARNING NEW STYLES TECHNIQUES OR TRAINING STUDENTS TO DEFEAT A THEIR SYSTEM THEY THEMSELVES HAVE LEARNED TO USE AND TO BEAT

  • "Which martial art and martial artist was truly the best?"

There is no such thing as a "better" or "the best" martial art or artist. Every martial art is just different, and used depending on what the situation might be. It really all depends on WHO the fighter is and in what situation.

  • @JackOfMetal1 I recommend Krav Maga for pure self defense. Almost anyone would. If not, talk to the head of the MMA gym about doing a more self defense style training. I'm sure he/she will gladly try to accomidate you.

  • YouTube should offer a plan were u pay like $10.00 a month and watch any video without no commercials

  • @tonyinthe602 Just use 'add-blocker' on your add-ons for your browser

  • @hipgrinder didn't know that

  • @tonyinthe602 How about they just take ads off? Like the old youtube

  • @wowsweetness12 yeah but then youtube would shut down due to the fact there would be no ads, ads pay youtube to keep youtube up

  • @wowsweetness12 That's how they make money, dumbass. Without their advertisements. YOU would have to pay. Quit bitching about it.

  • @wowsweetness12 you can just right click and hit stop download

  • @wowsweetness12 Adblocker. :)

  • @wowsweetness12

Then would you like to pay for a YouTube subscriptions instead?

It costs money for YouTube to do what it does, and it is in the end a business, it is meant to make money.

  • @JackOfMetal1 try Tae Kwon Do, i'm in it and it's an easy and really good martial art, it's also fun too.

  • 6 people only played the games on ps3 the came and tried it there

  • Best martial art? Bruce Lee. Best martial artist? Bruce Lee.

  • @TenteixSaigo bruce lees not a martial art,

and martial arts werent fully developed back then, he would be out classed nowadays.

  • @JasonCoden Bruce Lee would not be out classed in ANY sense. He was a grappler and a striker. He was trained by Judo Gene Lebell, one of the best ground fighters alive today. He may not win on the ground, but he can survive and get back on his feet. To think he would be outclassed is to be uneducated, especially since he grandfathered modern MMA.

  • @TenteixSaigo in my eyes, him vs anderson silva would be bruce lee knocking the fuck out of anderson because hes a better striker, but if he fought chael sonnen ,he would get taken down, and ground fucked.

  • @JasonCoden Bruce Lee loved ground fighting. I suggest you read the Tao of Jeet Kun Do. You'll see he actually was pretty skilled, especially since he was a wrestler and judoka.

  • @TenteixSaigo Judo is ground fighting. its throws. A bit different. Theirs standing, throws, and ground fighting. Judo is that inbetween.

if a jiujitsu guy gut a judo guy in a locke its done. but a judo guy would probably take out a jiujitsu guy with a throw and a quick punch/kick combotothe head

  • @urbanassassin26 Judo is ground fighting. It's standing AND ground. BJJ came from Judo, as a matter of fact. Not to mention the ground skills of a certain judoka named Masahiko Kimura were superior to that of Helio Gracie, seeing how he had such a significant victory they named the move he employed after him. Judo is just as good as BJJ for adressing the ground, but BJJ spends more time on the ground. It's all about who teaches you. Bruce was tought by a great ground fighter named Gene Lebell

  • @TenteixSaigo I have it, never got around to reading it, i find that its come a long way though, like with 10th planet jiu jitsu and everything.

  • @JasonCoden Thing is that if ou reads it you learn that Bruce knew how to fight on the ground. He knew more than he put in th book, but you still get to see that he knew it. That's how he fathered moddern MMA

  • so many fuckin ads. chrome flash freezes.

  • @seanncali use Mozilla Firefox and add extension ad-block plus removes ads from all videos

  • The Twister

  • 15:52... cung lee is mah hero

  • eddie bravo is sick

  • Your friend and mentor? Ok, I now know your'e a pothead. Ancient chinese secret?

  • @nukemm33 whats wrong with potheads

  • @G0DatC0D I don't personally thing anything is "wrong" with potheads. Both my parents are potheads and so is my best friend. Although, I personally don't like to inhale smoke into my lungs and contaminate my body with chemicals (well, more than processed food already give me), its everyone's decision. I do not judge. I was just making a joke because Eddie Bravo is a known pot advocate, and an awesome guy I might add.

  • @nukemm33 good comment bro

  • @nukemm33 1ST CANNIBIS HAS BEEN USED FOR THOUSANDS OF YRS AND 1 TIME IN THE WORLD BEFORE THE DEA STARTED A WAR ON CIVIL RIGHTS,IT WAS THE MOST SOUGHT AFTER PLANT IN THE WORLD AND HAD THE MOST VALUE OF ANY OTHER PLANT,MALES FOR FUEL ROPE CLOTHES FOOD,FEMALE PLANT FOR ITS BUDS AND ITS MEDICINAL VALUE,IT GROWS YOU CUT IT THEN DRY IT THATS IT,NO CHEMICALS TO ADD NO PROCESS TO ALTER ITS NATURAL FORM,ALL THOSE LIES CAME FROM CURRUPT GOV WHO PASSED LAWS TO BAIT PEOPLE INTO BUYING THEIR MAN MADE DRUGS!!

  • at 28:11 bet they are talking about him

  • I love it where Cung Lee reacts to Jason's kick and goes "Ooooooooo!"

  • Search 'Strops HQ' on Facebook and like this new place were you can discuss, argue, talk and share anything about sports!
