It fits it so well, with the vehicle sounds, it gives you the extreme rocking action-packed vibe like how those classic racing games in a local arcade did, and not to mention every second of this song makes you want to rock-out and go on an actiony car chase with guns n shit, It's just that good

I figured to retain some sense of storyline for 1 2 and black?

The 90s are awesome, now most games are cliche shootemups with the main character being (masculine white solider with short dark hair), the story being

Games back then were more creative, because it was difficult to be realistic with the limited graphics, and there wasn't so much preasure to make a profitable game. IMO, when you've played on 7th gen FPS/TPS, you've played em all.

Well on the TM Head On Extra Twisted Edition, The Dark Past talk about the past games. Well if you look closely there are flashing numbers. Study them and like for example: The #5, it's an E cuz the E is the 5th place of the alphabet. Study them for a while and you will get: "Twisted Metal Is On PSThree." So I'm assuming that they are making a new Twisted Metal Game. =)
They might put that name to rest or maybe the whole scary black thing. You remember the tribute they put in Head On to the developers of Black 2. I would think in respect they would put that to rest. It's either that or they might finish it from respect for the developers. Who knows.
@TheJoebama They said in Head On that the work for the new Black game that was bound to come out was to be called Harbor City but the project came to an end after the developers died in a freak plane crash. Maybe they will finish the work that they didn't finish and title it Harbor City.
@LPGivenUp19 actually the plane crash is a joke, the real reason is that Sony made them shift gears for a PSP title instead of another PS2 one becasue they knew that the PSP's initial lineup was lacking any big name franchise.

Halo is very simple and easy to understand and there's nothing wrong with that in an instant gratification FPS. Twisted metal is great because to this day people have been craving for it. now vendetta needs to go get his head fixed, theres nothing wrong with being a fan of anything im not a fan of sony but im a fan of twisted metal, i myself have an xbox 360 and a ps2 only cuz the 360 has Halo Reach coming out at the end of summer..... if they do make another twisted metal game, ill consider getting a ps3 for it, but until then ill stick with a ps2 and all the classic twisted metals. now that being said, Twisted Metal AND Halo are the greatest games of all time.

I don't think it'll be called TM Black 2...
They might put that name to rest or maybe the whole scary black thing. You remember the tribute they put in Head On to the developers of Black 2. I would think in respect they would put that to rest. It's either that or they might finish it from respect for the developers. Who knows.
I just hope for a new kickass Twisted Metal!

@TheJoebama They said in Head On that the work for the new Black game that was bound to come out was to be called Harbor City but the project came to an end after the developers died in a freak plane crash. Maybe they will finish the work that they didn't finish and title it Harbor City.

@LPGivenUp19 actually the plane crash is a joke, the real reason is that Sony made them shift gears for a PSP title instead of another PS2 one becasue they knew that the PSP's initial lineup was lacking any big name franchise.

@TheJoebama the new oneis a sort of reboot of the series with a new universe that is a mixture of the black and the original universes... so far the official title is just "Twisted Metal".

@Jackie640 Halo is a good game....for people who can't grasp tactical combat very well or too lazy to learn it. Halo is very simple and easy to understand and there's nothing wrong with that in an instant gratification FPS. Twisted metal is great because to this day people have been craving for it. Not many people rave about Halo anymore. Its "just another game".

now vendetta needs to go get his head fixed, theres nothing wrong with being a fan of anything im not a fan of sony but im a fan of twisted metal, i myself have an xbox 360 and a ps2 only cuz the 360 has Halo Reach coming out at the end of summer..... if they do make another twisted metal game, ill consider getting a ps3 for it, but until then ill stick with a ps2 and all the classic twisted metals. now that being said, Twisted Metal AND Halo are the greatest games of all time.

i liked minion, sweet tooth, darkside, and spectre the most. i remember the day i first got this, i was looking through the characters and then i wasnt looking at the names, i just saw a semi and shouted "cool! a truck! look mom!" i was what 7? but i was hooked right after finishing freeway free for all.
