I watched this video years ago eventually the cruel new owners shown in the video seperated the crow and the kitten, the crow used to knock on the window for the kitten to come out but the owners kept the kitten in and the crow disappeared after trying for months to be reunited with its friend.

when my mum rescued a baby baby crow a few years back, he was absolutely obsessed with our dogs (the back sheep-dog in particular, who was QUITE a lot larger than him). Whenever we gave the crow pieces of meat to eat he would take them in his beak to feed to the dog - whom he had obviously adopted. it was so adorable! he would not leave the dog's side.

In most cases when an animal feels satisfied and doesn't worry about hunger and safety then they do things differently like this. Instead of killing the kitten to eat it the crow has taken care of it because it felt sorry for it and had no worries of her/his self. Animals are much like us but with more severe problems like worrying about getting killed or having enough food but once they have no worries they do things differently like going for hobbies. It's not a surprise, it's natural.
