there is about 4 different headlock escapes the guy in the white gi can do from there, Kasagatame is better shown scooping under the opponents shoulder (his left) And you expose two arms to attack as opposed to one.

I was thinking that another option would be to grab the arm and go for a kimura or a chicken wing, in which case you can remain standing.
