  • @CallOfDutyKid05 Haha thanks man :)!

  • at 4:17 you should use the F chord instead of the C chord. Then go into the C chord. Same for the other times like such.

  • lol lang leve nederland

  • Amazing =D

  • @Niouk974 Thank You ^^!

  • i worte all the notes down ... just cause i want to learn it.. i'm such a noob :D and i only have an electronic piano that makes it difficult to play the accords...

  • i worte all the notes down ... just cause i want to learn it.. i'm such a noob :D

  • "Okay lets blah blah and another fucking blah and just more blah so it takes forever to learn this stuff yippiieee!!!!"

  • you suck

  • I just needed the right hand :P

I can figure out the rest :D

  • do you have a printable music sheet with notes labeled and hand positioning?

    (easy version)

  • @YourSource4Gaming Unfortunately, I don't =(.

  • Haha goed Engels voor een Nederlander. ;P

En tnx voor je Tutorial! :D

  • R u dutch ?

  • @MrWhazzaa I am :-)!

  • @360Eggs I could agree with you. Still people expect more, but in that time I just had a crap cam, so I don't blame them, but they shouldn't blame me as well =P.. Hope you enjoyed :)!

  • Гарри Потер играет морровинд

  • its C minor not C major so the first cord is wrong. and that d in with the cord dont sound to good=/ its a cool song though

  • Comment removed

  • Ty man =D i mastered because of your help =D

  • Boo! (Easy Version)

  • @hussun2021 If you would like to see the hard version from me, just PM me :-)!

  • tnx

  • wouldn't it be easier, if you didn't know sheet music ( which no one who plays for fun does) to right down the notes normally. E.g C B G F ?

the frame rate on the camera makes it too hard to see what you're pushing

  • Well it should be quite easy to master, since all the notes you use are: C, D, Es, F, G, As, Bes, C.

And yea I agree with you that the framerate sucks ass, but still all the keys which I play are very viewable :). I hope this helped in some way, otherwise PM me.

  • @amethystducky I play for fun and i know sheet music

  • ty :)

  • weird cause I started from H tone and sounded good.

Same as this but it's just escalated down by half tone

  • H tone :s??

half a tone down? so: Cm -> Bm?

Ofcourse you could transpose it to many other rifs as you like =)!

  • Morrowind= better than real life.

    Oblivion=pretty damn close

    other Elder Scrolls=fucking amazing

  • Better than real life??? :O I disagree :P

Still it's pretty damn good aye :D!

  • lol =)

  • @mandolinplayer13 Skyrim will be epic as shit

  • @mandolinplayer13

    And now skyrim...

2 years ago you didn't even SEE it coming

  • @nexusprime000 Skyrim is the best everrrrr =D! I should play it on the piano and make another tutorial...

  • @fabiandevries

I would love you for making a nice flowing tutorial for the piano for the skyrim theme!

  • hahah fabian je kent me wel van mail ;) je praat best wel bekakt engels =P

  • Hahaha nogal he ;p... achja joh, dit is al 2 jaar geleden :P! Maar ik zet ook wel graag accent op ;p.

  • Yea there are a lot of variations you can make, you could also watch my Morrowind Oblivion Tutorial, where I use those methods. =) Thanks!

  • You play really beautiful.

    What keyboard do you use?

  • I still play on this one, it's a Roland EM-20 :)! Great keyboard :).

  • erm what sound on keyboard are u using pls jhelp

  • "Grand piano" on the Roland EM-20 (quite an old keyboard from Roland, but it's a great thing =D) (A-11 Piano1W) =)

At the middle when I play it it's the A-15 SoftEP =) (Soft Electronic Piano).

I hope you enjoyed it ^^!

  • Brilliant stuff, mate. I really wish I could play the piano for things like these. Well, at least I learned the start of the song :)

  • Well, start playing then :D! You're never too late to start playing. But the sooner you start, the less regret you'll get later in your life ;) hehehe :P

  • can some 1 tell me the notes to it

  • C, E flat, B flat, A flat

    C, E flat, A flat, F minor

:-) They've been posted a million times by now :P!

  • 37:00

i just did that to help myself know when the tutorial starts. i really apreciate that you did this. i love this tune!

  • correction:

    00:37

  • racist

  • uh...

  • Good to hear you liked it :)!

  • this would have been a lot easier if you had wrote the notes like C D G etc, like a lot of videos

  • Ah nice! ga ik ook proberen ;3

  • thanks so much! You helped me alot :D

  • You're most welcome :)!

  • Good luck, and remember: It's a continuous repeating song, with chords as Cm, Em, G, A(b)... =) So when you know the first verse, you can learn the second one etc really fast :D!

  • thanks for the tutroial dude i got the first verse done still practicing still messed myself up a bit but im working on it XD

  • Aaaaah awesome :D!

Yeah I bought it from my music teacher some time ago (now around 3 years?) and now I wanna sell it again :P I expect it's still worth around the 200 - 250 euro's, because Roland did a really great job on it =) EM-20 ftw :D!

    Thanks for the comment ay!

  • lol every1 is soo damn lazy....

Ima make a sheet for this.....give me a week

  • Hehe, with all due respect: there are many people who offered making them, but no-one ever made one :O!

  • And and, how's the sheets going? You should've been looooong finished by now xD!

  • if anyone wants the sheet just comment on my morroiwnd video

  • Or they can look them up via piano.blogspot :)!

  • Thx you!

  • Great vid.

    Thousand thumbs up!

  • srry but it would be better if i had the sheet for it

  • guys, u need sheet for it? I think this easy.

  • Oooh but it IS easy =)! People only need time to learn it =P. It's a continuous repeating song, with chords as Cm, Em, G, A(b)... Piece of cake =)! And when you know that, you can move onto the next tutorial, on my profile =)!

  • thank you ^^ you've just learned me how to play the morrowind themes ^^ thnx!!!

  • hey yo, nice job i am going to put this vid on my ipod so i can go to my keyboard and play it. you should get a camera-man or a tripod! that way it's esier to play ^_^

  • Yup true =P. Im not making any more tutorials at the moment tho :). So I don't need a camera-man that much =P.

Although I was asked lately to join a band! =D So I think the next video of me will be with the band =)!

  • That's great to hear! Keep up the good work then m8! :D

  • Yeah, you can learn it straight away. Anyways, if you have some experience it is (ofcourse) much easier (and faster) to learn :).

  • The chords are different from the original morrowind, but taht doesn't matter. You captured the melody just fine, and originality and variation on original music is the core of playing by ear.

I'm going to record my own version of morrowind theme now! :D

  • Aah! Well yeah, it's almost a year ago since I uploaded this video I guess, and alot of stuff has changed :P. I sure got other vids of TES how to play (e.g. Part 2). Good luck with the theme! UUH! I mean, break a leg! ;p

  • thanks!!! i can play it now very well!

  • when i saw your face it scared the shit outta me man. WOW! Thanks man

  • Hehe Sowwy! :P

I changed since then, god bless me xD!

When I look back at then I also think: O.o is that me :P?

Better look at my other vids then ;)

  • i can play it right now that's great thanks :)

  • Maybe you're ready for my 2nd video now =D?

  • wow this is great^^ ypu play really good i thing this will be the next song that i will learn x3

  • That's good to hear =)! Btw, if you want to learn more, there's always my second tutorial =D!

  • True :P. Keyboard perhaps? =)

  • --Announcement--

For those (like Dejkola) who want to have a more detailled version of the tutorial, check my second tutorial which you can find on my channel or the link on the right ----->

  • you fucked up one chord i think look my fast version too where its not in first part a last cord c but F and if you teach people play in a ledder i will post you a tutorial xD and post video response

  • I did fucked up one chord in this tutorial, which is the F, has to be B(b)... uuuuuhm, as you might know Dejkola, this is an old tutorial. If you see my second tutorial, I also show very detailled how to play in a ladder of TES... You could better see that one b4 posting a video response to this.

  • You can buy one =)!

  • Sorry about that my computer lagged

  • Omg I had a sereis of flashbacks while listing to this. BTW its amazing one of the best iv found on your tube

  • dude thats hecka' good u rock but when u write it please giv us al the sheet please :D

  • sorry man i just have to say this. in the beginning when you started playing at like 3min or w/e it sounded like final fantasy with the sounds n stuff you had on also you played it a lil faster?

  • Well, comments are always for those kind of things aren't they? :P

Anyways, this one's quite outdated nevertheless, in all those months I've made a whole other style on how to play TES. You can also find me 2nd tutorial of TES Morrowind Oblivion on my YouTube Site.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • Maybe I'll write it one day...

I'll give you all a message when I've done so =)!

  • Can you gimme the notes??

  • I haven't got any time lately to write them down for you =(. But but but!

My second tutorial of this song might help you out. Check it out =)!

  • well that last comment was a reply to jollyroger1990 (sry)

  • ugh when you play it together you're playing 4/4 time when its 3/4

  • This is still my old version, the newest version is on my YouTube Page. The other one is better, in my opinion.

  • Awesome thanks soooo much ^-^

  • :D when you suck I must suck too :D

  • near perfect teeth

  • doesn't matter :D what a comment

  • Very good tutorial, takes a lot to film and talk and show how its done. Gratz.

  • thanks i learned how to play the whole song by watching you. any news on when you will have the oblivion one ready?

  • Well uhm, tbh I didnt planned on making a tutorial for the oblivion one. But if you look at my TES: Morrowind Part 2, you could hear how I play it. And uhm, I thought I've mentioned the base chords etc in that note ;).

  • but the real one in the game, its not the same? its more complicated as i remember... whatever, this version is also cool!

  • nice thx

  • My name isn't Dutch, Fabian is an Italian name =).

  • Yes, I am. Nice accent I have eh? =P

  • Tell me where you got that sheet music!!!! And thanks for vid very helpful!

  • I don't have any sheet music for this song, I just listened very carefully to the theme itself.

  • Can u please make sheet music?

  • yep, it's another instrument. Not piano idd, but electric 'piano'. Somewhat the sound of a synthesizer. I can't describe it another way :O.

  • thank you sir :)

    appreciate

  • can u do one of oblivion teme???????'''

  • I can do that. I hear many people want that. So expect a vid from me explaining Oblivion/Morrowind this upcoming month!

  • great job!

why other tutorials are not good like your? :D

  • You should make something to put camera on it. I stil dont understand both hands...

  • OK - ive got it :D:D Anyway - great job :D:D

  • Nice Tutorial it makes me want to go out and play the game. can you send me the sheet music.

  • ....WOOT!!! This is better then any sheet music any one could have provided, thank you! It also really helped that you didn't go a million miles an hour, so I could write the notes!! ^_^

  • ahh i see, thanks

  • sorry for my ignorance, but what is the difference between a piano and a keyboard? because the only instrument i've played is my mouth(i'm a beatboxer) so i can't really tell the difference...could someone explain it to me?

  • Well, a piano is a really old thing; dated from the renaissance, which Bach and all others played on. A Keyboard however, is electricial. It has chips in it, and when you touch a note, you'll get to hear a recorded sound from the instrument you've selected. You can also make beats with the keyboard, which is impossible for piano's ;)

  • "I play them with two haaands" Great accent Fabian. Thanks for all the time you put into this, you inspired me to pull out the electric piano and try this out... now I just need to find the power cord...

  • Thanks vm i managed to do this :O just i had a bit of hard time when it comes to the left hand didn't really understand it :X anyway, thanks.

  • Could you just pm me the notes please? I tried writing them down for myself and faild...

  • R u from holland 'cause you got dutch accent

  • Yep, you're right... And I've said it before:

"Lolz ofcourse =P, you see, I come from The Netherlands... and the Dutch word for Chord = akkoord :P"

  • I think it's time for a new video of The Elder Scrolls! This video and the other one I made are quite outdated right now. So expect a new song from me soon =)...

  • thank you very much!! after years i can finally play morrowind theme by myself :) well, more or less, because the only keyboard i have has 32 keys (if that's how it is called in english) so i can't play some parts of song.. man it sucks so much i ordered new keyboard :D

  • It would be interesting to make a remix of morrowind theme to the matrix theme , and a little added doctor who there too,, if anyone got the know how please make it

  • The whole song is made in the Cm-chord version, what I mean by that is: all keys in the song are C, D, Es, F, G, As, Bes. If you know that, and the following chords, you're basically done! You can also look on Schleichmann's TES Suite, a sort of remix from him.

  • yes, of course. 100% correct. and very useful for someone who CAN play the piano. but as for me who can only repeat what others play and dont know a thing about playing it is useless :) anyway your guide made me want to KNOW how to play! seriously, in the past, Ive seen people playing classical music and it was boring (no offence :) but knowing that i could play songs i love is tempting. all i want to say is: "thanks" :))

  • Okay, you're welcome. But in the end, do you really want to know how I've learned it? Well, it's quite simpel: there are 2 objects on your head called "ears". If you listen carefully, and try to play along on the keyboard or the piano, you'll come a long way. And that's the way I've learned it. Even Schleichmann's TES Suite was simple for me, I learned it in less then an hour.

  • phew.. i took your advice seriously and used ears as well as eyes. strange, i thought that to be able to use your pitch to learn songs takes a looong time. and bam! after only 5 hours i am able to play TES Suite :) Makes me proud somehow :))

  • OMG THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • woow thanks! i love Morrowind xD

  • One of the chords is wrong. Of the 4 chords you played with the left hand, which go C minor, E flat, B flat, you went back to C minor but it should actually go to A flat. The next time is different too, it goes C, E flat, A flat, F minor. So that's:

    C, E flat, B flat, A flat

    C, E flat, A flat, F minor

  • True, there are two different versions of the song. First version is your way, 2nd is my way. So it can be done with both.

Also, check out Schleichmann's newest song: The Elder Scrolls Suite!

  • omg nice!

  • Very nice, I gotta thank you for making this.

    Also, chord, not akkord :P

  • Lolz ofcourse =P, you see, I come from The Netherlands... and the Dutch word for Chord = akkoord :P

  • When you were about to explain how to play the accords, I thougth: "Oh, God nobody can learn that in 20 seconds." But you proved me wrong, you're a really good explainer! But I was hoping that you infact did write the sheet and publish them online :)

  • Well, I've got some good news for you (and the rest): I placed a .gp5 file (That's a Guitar Pro File) on my server: "w ww . fabiandevries . nl. tt" There you can download the sheet music, and I also placed a link to the Guitar Pro website.

  • Nice :). I have other version this song. I invite you on my video :).

  • Hmm, you're right in some ways...yes... But if some people want to learn it; I don't want to stop them from learning it. Also Schleichmann, how do you think I've learned it? I carefully listen and watched your play and I played it withing 5 minutes. And I'm not a pro. Everyone can learn how to play it, but this tutorial could only fasten it up. =)

  • I actually DID write sheet music for this (or my interpretation of it) but it is in a Guitar Pro 5 format. I think I'll make it into a Sibelus format or just write it out by hand a scan it for the good people here.

  • Oh, I got Guitar Pro 5 actually... If you can mail it to me I can scan it, make it .sib files or .enc files (Sibelius and Encore). My mail is: fabian.devries @ gmail . com

  • Good stuff. I've been attempting to write sheet music for this every now and then but when it comes down to it I really don't feel like doing that lol.

  • I've just come home from work and first thing I did was to check this out. You're really good at explaining how to play and showing the different accords. Now I'll begin practicing. Millions of thanks, again =D

  • Okay, so this is the tutorial. Sorry again for the mess, filming with my left hand and playing with my right hand is difficult =P. Also, I'm very curious what you can make with this tutorial. So, if you've made your song, make a video of it and place the video response here! I'm very curious! Good luck!!
