  • Enjoy the ship! Stop crying about which nations will pwn which!

  • This ship not this one by no means defined since it seems in this video (I speak about the concept about what is wanted it is his function) as also this one in interdiction the efficiency of the negative prow, almost nobody puts of I agree in this regard.

  • why is the map of australia in the background

  • @MrFattyfatfatboy SSShhhhhhhh. It's Classified Material. Very Hush-Hush!!!!!!

    :P

  • If the US is serious about meeting and defeating the Chinese challenge to her seapower then these ships are VITAL to ensuring the USN stays ahead of her rivals, its a damn shame only 3 will now be built, dont get me wrong the Arleigh Burkes are capable weapons of war but they are from a previous generation and eventually updates become irrelevant and replacements are needed, it seems to me the US leadership will realise this fact to late and will be forced to play catchup if they are not careful

  • @TheCharlie359 chinese navy is a sarden t

  • @kilo9161 , What?

  • @TheCharlie359 the chinese navy is made of sardines can, the navy have no idea how apperate against usa navy . it is a romer going on usa navy will attack china if they continue massing with are computer system

  • @kilo9161, First of, only an idiot would dismiss the Chinese fleet of 2012, it is far more capable than you are giving it credit for and is modernising and becoming larger and more powwerful everyday, the US is still dominant at sea however and will continue to be so for many many years but the Chinese are serious about surpassing the USN in the pacific, so the US must meet the challenge. The USA will never attack China over computer hacks, it would risk all out nuclear war if it did so.

  • @TheCharlie359 First of all, most analysts and experts acknowledge the fact that it will take China many decades to catch up to the USN technology. Secondly China's got what? 100 Nuclear weapons total, unless it's illegally proliferating more, the US also has an anti-ballistic missile defense network to shoot down any income nukes. So yeah, the US has nothing to worry about. China would be more likely to attack the US, as it has been a routine part of the rhetoric for a long time.

  • @williebruciestewie, I totally agree with you.

  • over priced, the fact their rcs is so low is contradictory seen as ships can see them above the water, 3.3 billion dollars for the first ship is massive, i think it looks impressive but my issue is why isnt it a submarine if the main issue is stealth?

  • The Royal Navy needs some of these!! They look amazing... imagine these sailing with Type 45's QE Class and Astute Class'. A force that would be undefeatable.

  • '

where is the missile / rocket on this ship

  • @bestamerica the missiles are stored internally to reduce RCS

  • hotpocketpoison,

    '

    okay thank explain,,,

    what is a RCS

  • @bestamerica Radar Cross Section. it is basically your radar signature, the smaller your RCS the harder you are to detect.

  • hotpocketpoison,

    '

    okay thank explain about RCS

  • And to think one of these ships only costs $5,000,000,000

    What a deal!

  • @aimpointvw but think, one of these ships could cause $10,000,000 worth of damage to cheaper enemies...meaning it can obliterate any competition.

  • hotpocketpoison,

    '

why worry about number of price,,,

how about china, iran, north korea, ussr russia have warships,,,

4 countries are not use number of prices

  • @ihaterabbits127 if that would happen it will not be navy it wil be icbm and cruis missils armed with nuke

  • You guys have been on about this for quite awhile now, is there anything else I should know about these things?

  • Comment removed

  • Only two ships will probably be built.

They are too expensive and probably won't deliver the promised performance.

No wonder the US is going broke.

  • @bustermk2 there are very few weapon systems put into the american miltary that do not perform as promised. I remember the so called experts saying the following were too expensive complex or unreliable..Aphache,M1,Bradley,Stryker,F16,F15 C17,Ticonderoga,Arleigh Burke,Nimitz Carriers,AMRAAM,list goes and on only the SGT York anti air system was a failure. We are not going broke because of the miltary ..its the government welfare system thats doing that.

  • Comment removed

  • @RJF1966 =D

  • @bustermk2 no there is 2 being made and a 3 one will be made also USA has actually gained 3% more money...so dont be a little bull shitter you stupid anti American

  • The guns are are not rail guns they are 155mm naval guns developed by BAE Systems Armaments Systems based on the sewdish bofors series of naval guns

  • The guns are Railguns. Weapons that launch projectiles with electricity.

These things will be able to hurl a 6 pound non explosive projectile at over 6 times the speed of sound at 10 shots a minute and be able to hit a target to within 5 meters from over 370 kilometers away EACH. To put into perspective how destructive these will be, recent tests have shown that ONE shot from these things will do more damage than a BGM109 Tomahawk Missile.

These things will save us money and make the enemy shit

  • latest rumor is that it is 60% complete and to be launched in 2012-13. initially usn ordered 5 units but escalating costs reduced this to 2 and now only 1. initial cost estimate 2 billion, final 5 billion. by building this vessel another 3% of american population will slip under the poverty line. way to go yankees.

  • The mean railguns, but didn´t say it!

  • This ship will kill many russian motherfuckers !!!

    USA Simply the Best !!!

  • This is not a Destroyer THIS IS A BATTELSHIP !!!!!! O.O i love it now=)

  • If they can't give it SM-3, it's a lemon. Also, it had better be able to deploy better anti-ship weapons than the Harpoon.

  • I apologise for my ignorant "brother", as many americans hear people like me talk and try to replicate it, but only spew dysentary from their mouths! even though what he said was very "blunt", there was some truth to it. but as western democratic, civilizations, we must work together to preserve the free world, protecting it from any/all threats, on any/every level. :D cheers!

  • When the allies and comintern met, hard-liners on each side wanted to keep going(including many leaders and generals). lets say there was no america. WWII-> allies win(european), and now instead of UK, US, France, ect. VS USSR, it's UK, France, Ect. VS USSR, the USSR can keep going! no nuclear threat(from US), Allies are weak, USSR has a bigger army, so why not? they could have, and would have kept going and they would have won.

  • America 2

  • In WWII, if america stayed COMPLETELY NEUTRAL.(no lend-lease, no ASW, ect.), britian would have been starved out of the war. the axis would have been sucessful in afrika, then middle east. the was in the USSR would have been (due to more oil, allies, ect.) sucessful. the japanese would have been unopposed in the far east, (india, east indies, australia, ect.) and ultimately operation sea lion would have been sucessful.

  • America 1

  • The US entry into WWI was vital to the defeat of germany. with russia out of the war(due to the revolution), battle hardened german troops from the eastern front made their way west. using artillery in close support with their elite infantry, considerable gains were made in every push, but each push didn't quite break ente lines. the US's entry into the war tipped it in favor of the ente. without america's entry, germany could have finally broken through, leaving the central powers victorious.

  • is a history lesson really needed here? *yes* ok then!

  • 3 ships for 9 billion love it.

  • will this make he world a better place?

  • @Junctus People around the world are just itching to kill each other.. the only thing stoping them is fear of what the other guy has...So to answer your question. YES. The World IS a Better Place...

Alternative: We can unite as a human race and settle our differences through intelligent forums. Good luck with this one...

  • @Gariel2007 we can unite the human race under one govement call star fleet and go see strange new woulds seek out new life. to bodly go were no man has gon befor. but this has a chance in hell as long as there is some one jeluse of what a nother man or woman has. face it human race will nver get over its insticts of killing. in till the borg come ans ausimlate us all and make us all under controll. wich the RP want any how but thast be sides the point lol

  • @TFOKillSwitch Your Preaching to choir friend

  • what show is this?

  • We don't have the money for this thing...

  • @Lukos0036 sure we do, dont believe in all this debt bullshit. 89% of the debt is entitlement programs owed to American people. The US pulls in over 5 billion dollars every day. We dont need this ship anyway, the US navy is already far more powerful than any other navy on earth. Nothing will ever defeat the US navy or even dare to take them on. China?? psssh, china is a speck, we'd annihilate them, plain and simple.

  • @G1formation We are trillions in debt, most of it owed to china which has a larger population and they are very good at stealing technology. Most of it due to 2 wars we have sustained far longer than we aught, and buying favor abroad from people that will use that money to buy guns to point back at us. The Russian carrier China bought that was just supposed to be a training platform is now fully functional. And they are backing Iran. They won't stay in the sea of Japan for long.

  • @Lukos0036 89% of our 15.1 trillion debt is owed to the American public through entitlment programs. Total debt to our chinese slaves is 1.4 trillion which is a speck. The old piece of crap carrier that china bought from russia is not fully operational for another 6 to 7 years. The chinese are not stupid enough to back iran and they certainly are not. Do your research and get a clue before you speak next time. Our wars in the middle east are meant to be longterm. US 12 carriers, china 0.

  • @G1formation @Lukos0036 The wars in the middle east were intended to kill bin laden, break al queda, kill saddam, and find his WMDs. The latter proved false, we killed saddam anyway, bin laden is dead, and we still have over 100k people over there. The Russian carrier was retrofitted with current tech, is running, has had a maiden voyage, is operational. The US doesn't shouldn't keep slaves. Be ashamed of yourself for that statement. 1.4 trillion is not a drop. Have some pride, we can do better.

  • @Lukos0036 Youre ridiculous. I present facts, you present nonsense. Go research it yourself that piece of crap carrier is not fully operational. Our chinese slaves know that US will pay them back because 1.4 trillion is not alot of money to US so they continue to buy treasury notes and debt. The wars in the middle east are part of a longterm global strategy actually. Believe what you want, Ill stick with the truth. You spelled al qaeda wrong.

  • @Lukos0036 Military analysts in China say it could take several more years to have the carrier fully operational and more than two decades to build an aircraft carrier program. August 8 2011, Voice of America. Sorry but youre wrong.

  • The Navy has been watching too much star trek. Or BSG.

  • THis will be like the F-22: awesome but manufactured in such small quantities as to be essentially useless. Cancel a few smaller programs and then make more of these. Cancel the F-35 and make more F-22s

  • @tjohn6041 We already have 200 f-22s in service, we dont need to rush production of anything, nothing on earth can take US on even with our current fleet.

  • @G1formation Actually, about 175 Raptors, all of them grounded with electrical issues. Russia has better air superiority fighters because they can field more of them at once. Almost all American aircraft rely on slow tankers to give them a decent combat range. The only thing we are particularly good at is our Navy because we have managed to keep more politics out than other military branches. Even still we need to develop defenses for the DF-21 and the new J-20 and T-50.

  • @tjohn6041 Nope, 200 plus actually, and theyre not all grounded, so youre an idiot. Russia doesnt have any superiority in anything so youre an idiot again. Idk where you get your info but your head up your ass isnt gonna change the facts. USA strongest nation on earth by far, now suck it bitch.

  • @G1formation Um, Lockeed says they are only making 187 off them, unless you are making some in your moms basement, there will never be more than 187. Also, The F-15, F-22, Su-35, Su-30, Su-27, Mig-29, J-11, Dassault Rafale, and the Eurofighter Typhoon are all air superiority fighters. The T-50 is an Air Superiority fighter in development. BTW, it is a good idea to do some research, not get your military knowledge from Call of Duty. ;)

  • @tjohn6041 F-22 is the only real 5th generation fighter at this point. Ive done my research thank you. The pentagon ordered 189 actually not 187. The pentagon does however already have more than that, Id know better than you, I have connections that would know better than you. But even without my sources, if you dig deep enough you can find the truth.

  • @G1formation If you had connections that leaked that information, they would be tried for treason. If you count all the undelivered aircraft and all the test articles and the YF-22, you might get over the 200 mark. And yes, you are correct when you say the F-22 is the only fifth gen fighter at this point, though that is totally off subject.

  • @G1formation There aren't 200 F-22. There are 180+ and won't be more of them since the production line is closed forever.

  • why did my last comment post to the top comments section? glitch i suppose.

  • can it withstand the DF-21D?

  • Comment removed

  • @tjohn6041 We've yet to see a demonstration of the DF-21D. Based on my thesis research, I'd say that those worried about it are underestimating the difficulties involved with hitting a maneuvering target with a conventionally armed IRBM, which has to reenter the atmosphere at speeds that severely limit course corrections in the terminal phase of flight. The Chinese claims might just be a ploy to confuse planners and spur unnecessary spending. We did the same to Russia with "Star Wars"/SDI.

  • @2IDSGT Star Wars was very real, just a political nightmare that would have caused a war. Remember Polyus and the Anti-satellite missile launched from the F-15? I think the DF-21 is a real issue because CWIS cannot acquire and track quickly enough. It is not too hard to hit a carrier that is almost a quater mile long traveling 30-40 knots with a missile at about 5700 kts (almost 2 miles per second). A carrier is fast compared to a other ships but slow to a missile.

  • with the great electronics and computing power... wouldn't an EMP take it out?

  • @DJRavenwolf Good point, but I would hazard to guess that it is EMP hardened. Enough lead can block out anything.

  • This looks really advanced and all... but this ship is incredibly ugly. Ill take an lcs over this any day

  • Damn economy. I swear when things get better...

  • @marineooo5

Good news. They just got funding for 1001 & 1002. Enough time to decide if they will build more. Personally, I think they WILL build more then 3, due to the price job in the 1001 - to the - 1002.

  • *drop

  • 6 people are in the Chinese navy.

  • @Juanchopepe86 89 people are american invader

  • @bloodelfshit

    "89 people are american invader"

    God Bless America.

  • Was this ship entirely cancelled or are they finishing the ones they started?

  • @Shadx27 They are building three: USS Zumwalt, USS Michael Monsoor, and USS.... (DDG-1002)

  • The Civil War ironclad is back!

  • i think ship is too tall and big, burke arrangement is better

  • @XjhonnieX I'd take a couple of these. I hear that the Flight III Arleigh Burke class destroyers will replace the Ticonderoga class cruisers. Orginally, we wanted 32 Zumwalts, but we are building three because of budgets.

The cool features are Stealth, Advanced Gun System, Peripheral Vertical Launch System, Dual-Band Radar, Advanced Sonar, Propulsion, Automation, and maybe a few more.

  • the usa thinks of the most craziest things that other countrys wont have for like 30 to 40 years

  • @USAmilitarypower Actually many people say Germany. Weapons, vechicles, missiles...

BUT THIS, Should be the MOST ADVANCED DESTROYER.

This + Gerald F. Class aircraft carrier + Virginia class submarine + Flight III Arleigh Burke Class destroyer = (I can't even describe it)!!!

  • @NatedogJr dude i know i cant wait to see it in action

  • well it would be a future boat if sweden didnt have a boat as good.. maybe it have some new tec but sweden already have one this good. So dont think you will have the best boat out there when this is finisht ;)

  • @unknowna2 Sweden doesn't have anything like this at all.

  • @njdevil281 really look it up ;)

  • @unknowna2 The annual defense budget of Sweden is $5 billion dollars, one Zumwalt costs 3.3 billion. Sweden has nothing close to it.

  • @njdevil281 and what about debt and economy on brink of claps in end all of thous fancy pancy paper project will end like H-49, E-100 or another shit.

End even if not, what will you do with sci-fi battle ship, Somalian pirates will still roaming free and cocaine lord about the Same

  • to reduce radar and acoustic signature, like a stealth missile guided destroyer right?

  • Inferior ship to Arleigh Burke or Ticonderoga class.

Just another bullshit project how to milk from Pentagon more money.....

  • DID YOU JUST CALL ME STUPID!!!!!!!! Sorry...... I have low self esteem.

  • wow reading all these comments i am now not surprised that Rockefeller and Rothchild has been so successful !!!!!!

  • US MISSOURI IS BETTER THAN THIS CRAP 111

  • look I dont support reading books because its a time waster I go with my gutt!!! look everybody knows Hitler crossed the the bulge river to harness the power of dutch windmills at the battle of Amsterdam to power Rommel's electric panzer tanks to liberate the Jews from the french and declare Hitler Emperor of France your all stupid!!! lol

  • As this is going to be financed by the Chinese, will the US have to give it to the Shinese as collateral as soon as they default ? :)

  • The advance gun system there talking about is that the rail gun??

  • Speaking of Obama killing USS Zumwalt DDG-1000. Who needs a ship like this that could protect our country from enemy / terrorist attack when you could spend the money on high speed rail that no one will ride.

  • Speaking of Obama killing USS Zumwalt DDG-1000. Who needs a ship like this that could protect our country from enemy / terrorist attack when you could spend the money on high speed rail that no one will ride.

  • Too bad Obama killed this

  • americans... all the gear but no idea

  • @mr9396 do we get all the gear from you?I guess we have some ideas of our own huh.

  • Railgun!!!!

  • Everybody knows that WWII was caused by my pet rabbit Thumper.

  • Them turrets seem out of control spinning widely around while shooting..

  • сша...гавно

  • DDG 1000 only if china cant copy it'll be the domanice in seas.

  • i wonder how it will handel against swedish submarines?

  • @ceraaative Why would the US ever want to fight against Sweden? If it is in a purely theoretical sense I guess you can't shoot what you don't see on radar. I like the new gripen fighter the swedes have come out with though.

  • @ceraaative it doesnt our subs and frigates as well as other ASuW systems do.

  • DDX-- gold plated, and easily sunk by aircraft. It seems battleship admirals still live. Too bad we can't get rid of them.

  • @231x2 The Idea of a ship with a gun able to do that is great. The DDG-1k isnt that ship. The problems begin with its hull design. VERY UNSTABLE. There is a reason it was done away with. This ship doesn't have handling to operate in bad weather. It will rely far to much on electronic systems etc. Its also designed to operate close to shore like in sight....now remember its the size of a battleship.....YOU CAN SEE IT. The hull is very thin and it has crap defenses. Only 2 tops are being built.

  • @valcan321

what don't you understand about over the horizon? as in it fires farther than the horizon, and since no one can see in a curve that means the ship won't be seen when it shoots over the horizon, not to mention most contemporary warships don't have a whole lot of armor compared to warships in the past

and the size of a battleship comment yes itll be a very long ship but theyve also stated that it will sit low on the water meaning it won't be so easy to see but i guess you're an expert

  • @BrotherCadaveri No but i do Know experts. BTW that hull? Let me give you a hint. That hull form was dropped for very good reasons. It sinks ships. So now you have a battleship size vessel that can't take the same frigates a destroyer can with ease.

I know the experts..this ship, LCS, San Antonio's all are a major fuck up as far as ship building and design goes.

Now the power system and some other things arent bad......but over all there designs are based on having EVERYTHING go your way.

  • @BrotherCadaveri dude, iowa class battleships could clear the horizon as seen from the deck, no ships will ever engage each other again from were they can see each other.

but that doesn't mean visual detection is isn't important, since UAV's usually scout with camera's anyways.

this piece of junk is way too expensive for what it does, they should have just taken the advanced gun system and mounted it on a conventional ship. the advanced gun system cost penies to produce in comparison.

  • @rawheas

too bad current ships don't have the hull integrity to mount these weapons. after firing them a few times the hull would be compromised and need to return to port to be repaired. now the hulls could be upgraded or new arleigh-burkes with improved hulls could be built, but shore bombardment isn't their primary role, and a jack-of-all-trades ship just isn't very effective in real life. all round capabilities are great in theory, but not in practice.

  • Yeah, you gone use it to the pirates or terrorist. 3,3 Billion dollar. hello do you wake up. thats crazy. there is no threat any more. maybe Ballistic missiles but than you have the wrong ships. The European navy`s haves al a better ships than the DDG-1000. The Radar range of the DDG-100 is only 320KM. The Zeven Provincien is almost 10 Years old and that radar range is 320KM. and the Zeven Provincien are Detecting stealth. and the Zeven Provincien are stealth. not completly but for a big part.

  • @dennis5294 thats a bold statement since the DDG 1000 hasnt been launched or had its shakedown cruise..make a statement once the ship is setup..i supect is lethal but its just too expensive regardless building a few is a good idea for the USN

  • @RJF1966 But if it is expensive. Why do you not taken the European ship with Lethal weapons and they are stealthy to and haves beter radars and sensors than the DDG-1000

  • @dennis5294 right now 2 are being built they are too far along to stop now. your european ships use some american weapons and sensors..your biggest error is europe, america and japan have more or less free technology exhange with a few exceptions. So your claims are baseless..the DDG 1000 hasnt even hit the waves yet..so when it does i will have the most up to date sytems.. FYI that ship is slated to use Rail Guns..guns what will have over a 180 mile range.thats not including other weapons

  • @RJF1966 The Zeven Provincien only weapon that is American is the VLS and the Harpoon. Al of the senors are made in Holland. Germany, Italy, UK, France and Denmark sailing with The Dutch Sensors. The Germans and The Danish navy ships haves only Dutch Sensors. The other country`s i have called sailed not with US Senors and Weapons to. The Smart-L and the S1850 al made in Holland haves a range of 480KM. There comes a Smart-L mk2 verry sun and this radar haves a range of 800KM.

  • @dennis5294 you forgot the ESSM (sea sparrow) its very accurate the RAM system thats between germany and the USA. SM2 ER and the SM3 ASAT system the liist is long and you forgot the AEGIS System that most nations copyed ...radar only works up to the horizon ..radar does not go over the horizon you need drones and spotters for that

  • @RJF1966 Only Spain haves the AEGIS system. About the Smart-L and the S1850 haves a big range because it`s looking in 3D. You can find that on Wikipedia. I have sailed with the Hr. Ms. Tromp. They told me that the range is 480Km. The Netherlands was with this ship the First Not-American navy ship that can destroying a missile out the Atmoshper.

  • @dennis5294 the first was shot down my the american ASAT missle back in the early 80s it was mounted on a F-15. That was the first time it was ever done. Aegis systems were first built for the Ticonderoga class cruiser..spain and japan are the other nations that licenced that system although its not the full system.. the navy is very paranoid about lettting just everyone have access to that system

  • @dennis5294 who cares its only for detection it can't track or illuminate targets also stealth is not factored in im sure to that range.

  • @renegadekav What is happening in the middle east is not youre bussines. Its nobody`s bussines. And you gone buy ships of 3,3 billion dollar but the Zeven Provincien class has a better radar system and it see`s stealth. For the rest if there is comming a missile to your ship you have no air defense missile and no CWIS.

  • @dennis5294 sure any radar can see stealth but at what range is the question nobody said it was invisible.how do you know it has a better radar the radar on this thing isn't finished yet its called AMDR.who cares about the middleeast for some reason we don't like drilling our own oil but whatever the reason they are their its a worthless region.the ship costs that much cause its the first few ships with all new tech what did you expect?we do all the r & d and others reap the benefits.

  • @renegadekav the range that the Zeven Provincien see`s steath is 480km if i had said. We have the same tech on our OPV`s. its al automatic. The JSS wil be have automatic tech to.

  • @dennis5294 lol yeah right.and there is also the issue of how stealthy there are degree's of stealth.im afraid ill have to see some proof or at least your faulty source.

  • @renegadekav No you wan`t that the Zeven Provincien don`t see a stealth plane at 260. But the clue is that the Zeven Provincien see`s a stealth plane at 480km and shot down a stealth plane at 260km. The next jears the Zeven Provincien gets the Smart-L mk2 that wil haves a range of 800km.

  • @dennis5294 your best source is some guy you said was in the navy common dude.they don't give range estimates for stealth planes since most targets aren't stealth they give max range under ideal conditions.from everything ive read thats a ridicoulous range.

  • @renegadekav My sourche commes of the captain of the Hr. Ms. Tromp. He has told everything about the Zeven Provincien class while a information day. He has told me about the radar range and the detecting of stealth. He said that the Tromp had a training with the UK and the USA to find stealth fighter. It was the first training for the Zeven Provincien class. When the training was started the Hr. Ms. Tromp saws the stealth fighter on the airport and he was the first.

  • @dennis5294 im pretty sure it will have a new 40mm close in gun system along with a mk110 57mm gun, also ESSM for close in air defence out to ~27nm.also sm-6 for long range air defence well over 100nm.people in the service say all kinds of crap I was in also although not the navy whatever this guy said there is no data to back it up and doesn't make any sense that the future radar we are working on can't even compete with a radar somewhere already in service."see's stealth"is very vague.

  • @renegadekav No not only the Smart-L. The APAR that haves a range of 260km see`s of that range the stealth to.

  • @dennis5294 radar sees various things at various ranges.maybe it sees a jumbo jet at 260km but it won't see f-22 and the like at nearly that range.there is no data just you saying radar x sees x amount of km.

  • @dennis5294 there is no threat anymore?LOL!!!!when did the world totally change I didn't get the memo.

  • @dennis5294 maybe you are refering to a low frequency band that can see that there is "something" there but can't even reliably track and certainly cannot paint or lock onto the target, thats pretty weak thou.

  • @dennis5294 I looked it up I assume your talking about smart-L it says it can see non stealth fighters at 400km and "stealth missiles" at 85km what ever that means.most naval ships today have some form of stealth incorperated but its hard to say when you can really label a shit stealth.id say a 600+ foot warship looking like a 45 foot fishing boat would count don't you?

  • why the hell does the government have to show this information about weaponry to the whole world to see? isnt something like this supposed to be kept secret?

  • britian is building the advanced gun on this

  • @wiganerrmc its gona be a railgun right???

  • @kbz1231 its a 155 mm caliber artillery but there also makeing the MK57 VLS

  • The USN really jumped the gun on this one. Technology development is good, but it is too far ahead to be of a reasonable price. I'd suggest investing in stealth anti-ship missiles instead. Harpoons and Tomahawks are getting waayy too outdated. And its easier and cheaper to build/replace those than updating a >10,000 ton "destroyer".

  • @barnabyfox, Its not, a supercarrier is the term invented to describe the US Forrestal class of the 1950's, a ship that displaced 60,000tons standard and 80,500 fullload, therefore any carrier which displaces more than 60,000tons is now classed as a supercarrier including the UK's new QE class.

  • in the next 5 years, the fcking chink (China) will try to copy and make shitty copies of this design then call it their future destroyers something. Just watch, fcking chink always let Western people to the hard research and develope stages. Then they will just hack in the system, stole the technologies and claim it's theirs. Why can we all Western countries stop buying their garbages and start buying domestic and Allies stuffs. I am really sick at those chinks. Only their girls are good.

  • @nttb6403 i totally agree exept one point, how can you say those pale-pan-cake-faces are good girls. these people are like insects, they are always under themselves, spread all around the world, they look like aliens and behave arrogantly, i´m not a rassist because japanese or thais i like, but those emotionless chinese i can´t stand.

  • @nttb6403

    IM AGREEE

  • Honestly, who cares who is better? We both fight on the same side!!! We now fight side by side with the Germans. But they were the enemy many many years ago. These are new times!!!Live in the now, not 70 years ago, or hell even 340 years ago. Even though we may not support each others interests to the tee we support each other when things go truly wrong. Its just like saying who's team is better, we wont know until we play each other and god I hope that never happens.

  • lol whys australia on the map behind him? planning something?

  • @leonwiganer Lol .in iraq it is a well known fact that the brits failed in basra badly .they ended up letting the local militias fight out for control .last week there was a special on the bbc with general dannitt and the head the raf saying that they were embarrased that the government didnt back up the troops and that basra was a disaster and a failure.somalia was a failure cos of politics

  • @leonwiganer Read ur own defence review that i sent u .you know have 19 capital ships ,cut from 25 .the us coast gaurd is completly seperate from the navy and has its own ships n airforce .so u do not have 88 ships check your numbers .19 frigates n destroyers .yes the carrier is be being redesigned cos now ur not getting vtol f-35 your getting 48 f35c n thats it so there adding catapults to the carrier
