The guy only played a role in the original Predator Movie. The only Movie that guy directed is 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang'

The Movie was sheduled for '2011'- seeing how there is no real information from Warner Brothers (The Production Company) about the Movie though, makes it seem that '2011' is the Starting Year of Production, which would mean the Movie would be released either in Winter or in the first couple of months in 2012.

This movie was SOOOO different from the manga yet still SOOOOO good, there was no near nor mellow, and L was the one who caught light.... L in the movie seemed more rude and less funny.... But he still ended up as lights friend in the end, the main thing that I didn't like was a new charactor called shiori that was lights girlfriend, she made Misa look like L =.=

I've finally finished watching the show (I got the two box sets) and I will say it was AWESOME. The show left me with mixed feelings though, like wither Kira should of won or if what Kira was doing was right. I just think both movies did a nice job of cutting out the second story arc and the main characters were all acted very well, and the ending of the second film definitely left me with a little more closure than the first arc of the anime did. That just makes me sad...

Its the views that get the money, if its a shit movie no ones gonna watch. no viewers=no money. and I highly doubt Hollywood would spend money to buy a license for death note and waste more money in production only to find out no one's gonna watch it. Its the matter of fan-base they chose as well, the only reason 'HSM' was so popular and got cash was because of a pretty boy's face and themes that appealed to little girls. They'll only lose money by risking it and pissing millions of DN fans off.

In my opinion, the movie was disappointing. Don't watch it. The anime is SO much better!

If they wanted to make a movie about Death Note, then I think that they should have done a movie on "Death Note Another Note: The Los Angeles BB Murder Cases" the novel based off of the show by Nisio Isin.

Apparently, this man in LA was BORN with the Shinigami Eyes. The novel, however, is narrated by Mello and goes into depth about L and Wammy's House.
