  • I think this was recorded with a camera in front of a television set.

I remember the old black and white TV with the rabbit ears and tin foil flags looking just like this.

  • @oberfour1 Sure looks like it. At 5:02 you can see the edges, though most TVs in '68 were rounded console screens. Unruly TV ears there...gotta give the guy credit for trying and getting this at least. But if so, why was this concert on TV?

  • とても貴重です from Japan

  • woooooooooooooooooow esto es mortalmente bueno

  • I stand corrected, as the Bullet wasn't made yet, perhaps it's a Mustang body or neck then, I'll find out.

  • not a Strat with tele neck, it was a Fender Bullet.

  • When this footage was first on YouTube they had a couple other songs and in one of these you could see Blackers playing a Tele with a Strat neck.

  • awesome sound, hell yeah!

  • which guitar is using ritchie blackmore??

  • @PetroASR, When this footage was first on YouTube they had a couple other songs and in one of these you could see Blackers playing a Tele with a Strat neck which he did have at the time.

  • @PetroASR In these early days of Purple, Blackmore played a Gibson ES-335 almost exculsively. He only switched to the famed Fender Stratocaster about 18 months later.

  • Even though the film is bad (Why?it must have been damaged) I still like to watch it but, most importantly, the sound is perfect and WOW they sound awesome. MK1 have another live performance with Hugh Hefner "Playboy After Dark"
