You cannot go wrong with the KJV. All of the other versions have errors. One of these versions is the NIV, It has a lot of deleted scripture. Some folks say that they have a hard time understanding the KJV. If his sheep prayerfully meditate on the scripture the Holy Ghost will be sure to reveal the hidden wisdom.
@ThePurplerobe That's right! Scripture is IMPOSSIBLE to spiritually understand without the Holy Ghost! But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Also, if we ask God for bread (give us this day our daily bread) He will answer. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? (Luke 11:11) Also see vs. 13
I have the english standard version and it says in the foot notes that "some manuscripts add 'who walk not according to the flesh (but according to the Spirit)'".
@freetruth80 That's a further lie of satan who has had quite a few years to practice his craft. Your esv is one of those which REMOVED it and then tries to back up their removal with deception. Do you realize that every version other than the KJV takes their texts from the Alexandrian texts? Alexandria is in Egypt (always an example of the world in the King James Bible)
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. We had a space of 400 years where the world was rocked back on their heels by the AV but the Alexandrian cult was revived by Westcott and Hort and like the popes before them will not tolerate us for long. Come out from among them and be ye separate saith the Lord. God bless you brother keep the faith in truth and Jesus.
I praise God for this video... Every Word of Truth so VITAL & PRECIOUS. THE PROMISES ARE CONDITIONAL WITH HOW AND WITH WHOM WE WALK!!! As for me, staying in the PURE Word...'' receive with meekness the engrafted word which is able to save your soul.''
@gotsumtn4u I REALLY appreciate that comment! You wouldn't have any idea how many negative comments I get from devils on this video (that I don't approve of course). Very nice to get a positive one from a fellow believer that God is fully capable of preserving His word!
Hi icartoon. I want to thank you for seeming to be at least a cordial KJV onlyist. Most KJV only people are very angry. Something I want to point out to you is that I use the ESV (among others), and while you are correct, in the main text the second part of the verse is not there.....there IS a note of reference. The reference points to the fact that some manuscripts add......"who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit." I don't think satan would add a reference.
@wuebbsco Thank you for your kind words in regard to my placidity regarding the subject. "I don't think" is where you are in error. Not that you don't think but that you've never asked the Lord about this most important subject. You've relied upon your own mind rather than the knowledge of God.
@icartoon2 I do not see my comment posted, so I do not remember using the term..."I don't think". But I DO notice you have no comment regarding the fact that my bible DOES reference the verse. AGAIN, if satan is behind this he certainly would not reference the verse...he would want to keep it HIDDEN! We should do what the bereans did in Acts 17.....when Paul and Silas were preaching the Word to them..they didnt pray about it...they searched the scriptures daily...I will follow them.
@wuebbsco Have you ever considered when satan tempted Eve in the garden that he also basically spoke what God said but he tweaked it ever so slightly. God said, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat" and then said, "But." Satan came along and said, "Yea, hath God said" (questioning God's word), "Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden." Well, when God said "but" he did kinda say, "Ye shall not" but that's NOT exactly what he said. Pray about it. Eve didn't. What if SHE had?
@icartoon2 I agree! KJV isn't perfect but it's not hiding anything either! Seeing how none of us have the original manuscripts but only the so-called bias modern progressives who are smarter than the rest of us I will take the 400yr old proven documents ! I use them all to study but my heart is in the KJV! Great vid post!
@dogfight55 hey, thanks for the comment! Been a while since anybody has been so kind as to leave one here.
I'm glad you say your heart is in the KJV. If you ask God for assistance you won't need any other to help you. God's word IS perfect. Translation and the giving of wisdom has never been a problem for God.
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
I will not debate you here on my video as it is not why I posted it. There is a private messaging system here on You Tube and if you believe I am in error the Scriptural thing to do is to come to me privately. Seeing you are such a student of "scripture" you should know this.
Matthew
18 15 ¶Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
I appreciate you seeking my input. I commend you for your video. There is a reason why that verse is left hanging in the modern versions: confusion.
If KJV supporters had it their way, the congregation would use ONLY the KJV. But since most congregations support the modern translations, there is nothing but confusion, which is not of God, which means God's work is not getting done. Don't people understand that we are going to judge based on the Word of God?
Sir, you seem like a very nice and well intentioned guy but I must disagree with you. I will only make two brief points:
1) The reason the last part of Ro 8:1 is not there has nothing to do with Satan and all to do with what the translators believed to be the original wording of Ro 8:1 and not what was inserted by scribes years later.
2)If you read the rest of Ro 8 it is obvious that the passage, in whatever translation, affirms Ro 8:1 in the KJV therefore nullifying the point that "Satan doesn't want us to know". I guess Satan should have cut out all the references to the Spirit and the flesh.
I do appreciate your intentions though. God Bless you!
2. books by Bruce Metzger, F.F. Bruce, James White, Timothy Jones
3. along with one and two, it's simply the truth. Research textual criticism and you'll understand why the KJV has more verses than other translations.
What I see is that you seem to be so full of yourself and not the Holy Spirit. The bible issue is fairly simple even for young children to understand. But I'm not surprised. I will dare say that you NEVER prayed about the matter, for you don't feel the need to. (I know what I speak because I've been there.) And one of your influences is James White, who loves to debate, but probably never lead a soul to Jesus Christ because he seems to good for such a thing. "A little leaven..."
icartoons > very good vid....furthermore, your loving/humble demeanor flys in the face of those persons/christians who accuse those believers who advocate the kjv as bound by a 'religious' spirit...i won't mention any names : )
sound doctrine has nothing to do with a 'religious' spirit as many a kjv supporter has been accused of.
I opened that Bible-like book and opened directly to a passage of which I was familiar and noticed the difference there. I didn't go in looking for that passage, I just opened up to it.
That's a great book you have there! Yes, that is the Authorized Version. Look up the user GodRaised on YouTube. He has a video posted of John 15 where that copy of the original KJV is read.
Yes, I agree. God can use even weak vessels, such as ourselves, to accomplish His salvation. But we must ask, can Satan use translations such as the NIV to deceive and the answer is "yes." I have proof I'll show in upcoming vids. Please subscribe so you can see it when I put it up. Thanks and may God bless you even more than He already has!
That's great. I'm not one that goes so far as to say people need to learn English to get it right. Other languages can be inspired also as long as they are translated from the same manuscripts as the Authorized KJ version.
I have a few other videos on this subject also. It is definitely an important subject. Also, important for us to always speak the truth rather than confuse things with reiterating the untruth of the other side's position.
...400 years of use! I reason 'Would God allow such a rotten version (if in fact it were rotten) to be the dominant version in the English speaking world". I don't see God that way. While true this is my own human reasoning, I think I have a valid argument. However, with that said, The only folks turning to the KJV are Christians. No post-moderns are reading it because it's a speed bump to them. They have to decipher it before they can apply it. Just my 2 cents. Be blessed!
I agree with you and very well said! I've thought the same thing but never could put it as simply as you have. For the sake of those not familiar with with YouTube's comment listing... Due to the fact messages are listed in a "most recent first" method you'll have to read

What you stated in your last message (above) I loved and it makes perfect sense! In fact, I have another 'spin' on that same 'reasoning.' It regards how God gave us the Authorized (KJ) version and how He's now allowing it to be taken away. Actually, I don't believe what you say is 'reasoning' but something that God showed you. After all, the devil didn't. Thanks 4 writing
