You cannot go wrong with the KJV. All of the other versions have errors. One of these versions is the NIV, It has a lot of deleted scripture. Some folks say that they have a hard time understanding the KJV. If his sheep prayerfully meditate on the scripture the Holy Ghost will be sure to reveal the hidden wisdom.

@ThePurplerobe That's right! Scripture is IMPOSSIBLE to spiritually understand without the Holy Ghost! But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Also, if we ask God for bread (give us this day our daily bread) He will answer. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? (Luke 11:11) Also see vs. 13

I have the english standard version and it says in the foot notes that "some manuscripts add 'who walk not according to the flesh (but according to the Spirit)'".

@freetruth80 That's a further lie of satan who has had quite a few years to practice his craft. Your esv is one of those which REMOVED it and then tries to back up their removal with deception. Do you realize that every version other than the KJV takes their texts from the Alexandrian texts? Alexandria is in Egypt (always an example of the world in the King James Bible)

Hi icartoon. I want to thank you for seeming to be at least a cordial KJV onlyist. Most KJV only people are very angry. Something I want to point out to you is that I use the ESV (among others), and while you are correct, in the main text the second part of the verse is not there.....there IS a note of reference. The reference points to the fact that some manuscripts add......"who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit." I don't think satan would add a reference.

@icartoon2 I do not see my comment posted, so I do not remember using the term..."I don't think". But I DO notice you have no comment regarding the fact that my bible DOES reference the verse. AGAIN, if satan is behind this he certainly would not reference the verse...he would want to keep it HIDDEN! We should do what the bereans did in Acts 17.....when Paul and Silas were preaching the Word to them..they didnt pray about it...they searched the scriptures daily...I will follow them.

@wuebbsco Have you ever considered when satan tempted Eve in the garden that he also basically spoke what God said but he tweaked it ever so slightly. God said, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat" and then said, "But." Satan came along and said, "Yea, hath God said" (questioning God's word), "Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden." Well, when God said "but" he did kinda say, "Ye shall not" but that's NOT exactly what he said. Pray about it. Eve didn't. What if SHE had?

Seeing how none of us have the original manuscripts but only the so-called bias modern progressives who are smarter than the rest of us I will take the 400yr old proven documents ! I use them all to study but my heart is in the KJV! Great vid post!

I'm glad you say your heart is in the KJV. If you ask God for assistance you won't need any other to help you. God's word IS perfect. Translation and the giving of wisdom has never been a problem for God.

I appreciate you seeking my input. I commend you for your video. There is a reason why that verse is left hanging in the modern versions: confusion.

If KJV supporters had it their way, the congregation would use ONLY the KJV. But since most congregations support the modern translations, there is nothing but confusion, which is not of God, which means God's work is not getting done. Don't people understand that we are going to judge based on the Word of God?

Sir, you seem like a very nice and well intentioned guy but I must disagree with you. I will only make two brief points:

1) The reason the last part of Ro 8:1 is not there has nothing to do with Satan and all to do with what the translators believed to be the original wording of Ro 8:1 and not what was inserted by scribes years later.

2)If you read the rest of Ro 8 it is obvious that the passage, in whatever translation, affirms Ro 8:1 in the KJV therefore nullifying the point that "Satan doesn't want us to know". I guess Satan should have cut out all the references to the Spirit and the flesh.

What I see is that you seem to be so full of yourself and not the Holy Spirit. The bible issue is fairly simple even for young children to understand. But I'm not surprised. I will dare say that you NEVER prayed about the matter, for you don't feel the need to. (I know what I speak because I've been there.) That's a great book you have there! Yes, that is the Authorized Version. Look up the user GodRaised on YouTube. He has a video posted of John 15 where that copy of the original KJV is read.

Yes, I agree. God can use even weak vessels, such as ourselves, to accomplish His salvation. But we must ask, can Satan use translations such as the NIV to deceive and the answer is "yes." That's great. I'm not one that goes so far as to say people need to learn English to get it right. Other languages can be inspired also as long as they are translated from the same manuscripts as the Authorized KJ version.

While true this is my own human reasoning, I think I have a valid argument. However, with that said, The only folks turning to the KJV are Christians. No post-moderns are reading it because it's a speed bump to them. They have to decipher it before they can apply it. Just my 2 cents. Be blessed!

Thanks for your kind and friendly demeanor in this video. With such a volatile subject matter, I was bracing myself for a rough ride. I'm glad to have been wrong. Here's my thoughts. I am KJ "mostly". I grew up with it and understand it. I used to be an English teacher so I'm very comfortable with it but today's generation is not. Not by a mile. My question then, is shouldn't we make the English more in line with today's English? I don't mean change anything or leave anything out. Continued.....
