  • I love it I love it :)

  • Great video ! u still makeing more?

  • im more of a kawasaki ninja guy :)

  • @alittleTWIZTID This video is pretty old, I'm still a tried and true honda guy... But I in fact own a Ninja :) thanks for commenting

  • great video!!!!!!!!

  • @SinkorSwim1000 I get this comment so often from both sides of this argument, that I might just have to make a video specifically about this...Hahah, Thanks for commenting..

  • Dowwnload the audio from this vid at soundnabber doht cohm.

  • 88hawaii!!

  • @aznwilly211 yep, the one and only!

  • oh billy cheer up mate, i was riding harley in my ducati gear , can you imagine peoples look on their faces....

  • great vid billy

  • @slipknotmetalhead13 Thanks man, this was one my early in-helmet vlogs..it was alot of fun

  • im kinda new, and i wanna ask how do u usuallly come to a stop, i know that ur supposed to slow the speed by shifting gear down upto neutral? so if u need to come to a stop and u predict u wont stop by the stoplight, u wud use ur engine rear brake right? cuz i heard braking is bad? idk. help me out

  • @o0jun0o Nothing wrong with being new..everybody has to start somewhere. Slowing a motorcycle down effciently involves downshifting, smooth clutch control, and linear use of both brakes.. You should look into taking a local basic motorcycle course.. They can teach you alot more than I can thru a comment :)

  • That bike sounds nice. I actually sat on a R6 yesterday... I had butterflies just sitting there :)

  • @phantomx2003 I have to be honest, that was a beautiful motorcycle...but man it handled like crap..but I think it just had really crappy tires on it =)

  • Oh my god i love motorcycles! The sounds, the looks, and fun you can have with your buddys. I cant wait to get a big bike. Im still building up my experience with smaller bikes for now, but one day il be rocking the 600cc :-)

  • love the wind sound

  • That's a motovloggers trademark sound :)

  • woooo r6 ftw lol my favorite bike

  • it was a sweet, sweet bike, but that particular one was in desperate need of some new tires..

    Thanks for the comment

    Billy

  • I'm quite sure the green one's a kawasaki but what's the yellow one?

  • That would a Yamaha R6

  • Check up my latest video of me and 88Haiwaii on scooter in Taiwan, LOL

  • i rated you up BIGG style 5 out of 5 bredrin keep vlooging and i suscribed :D

  • Thanks tony, I appreciate the comment and the sub!

  • i love motorbikes, saving up for a scooter then a bike miself.

  • That bike sounds pretty nice! Its pretty funny seeing you wearing a suzuki jacket on a yamaha. :D Tracy would've probably made fun of you big time if he were there. haha

  • I was kinda outta of my element =)

  • nice chase cam cop n robber style of shootin'

  • Lol, I can see that..

  • "but you can only do it once" lmao xD

  • Haha, Rob is a very wise man

  • hey man i'd say keep vlogging as well as doin ur traditional work...you're obviously extremely experienced so vlogging and giving tips (every once in a while of course) could really help some people (including me) with little tips on riding safe or riding defensively...also just tips on how to be a better rider etc...just my 2 cents (: :)

  • Thanks man,

Vlogging is fun and easy..where my traditional stuff takes time and money and planning..and i can't do that very often so it's good to mix it up. I have thought about putting together vids like that, but there are so many great motorcycle "training" vids out there that would rather just give them the view counts than take em..check out CaptaincrashIdaho, if you haven't yet..he is awesome at putting out training type vids..

    Thanks again,

    Billy

  • yeah i've been watching that guy for a long time...he's pretty funny...hey when you were in NY what roads did you take? I saw your route on the website you have and it looked like you passed right by where I am living now, just curious...and hey you've got a lot of experience...plus you should talk to djcipster4breaks about his trip to AZ from MI...i'm sure you're pointers could help him a lot

  • LOL this is so funny i saw another video from 88hawaiis view lol same vid but from ur POV

  • Haha, Yeah I thought it was fun to see his videos after they posted as well..

    Thanks for the comment..

    Billy

  • i'm a honda lover but yes, a r1 junkie if you will, but i was just wondering what the difference was between the two, specially since in the video you hadn't ridden a bike in a while, thnx

  • VituMV,

In this video I was on an R6, but I did own and R1 for about 3 years...All sportbikes are relatively the same..I would say the biggest difference from my R1 and CBR1000RR, was handling..my R1 felt lighter in the corners, and would turn in quicker, But my CBR is alot more stable and I'm willing to ride it alot faster because it builds confidence..

    Thanks for the comment,

    Billy

  • Great video, I enjoyed this. I'm getting my bike on Tuesday (I also had a crash too!!!) it's crazy stuff out there.

    Take it easy!

  • Thanks Dash tube,

Sorry to hear about your crash, but as long as you're getting back in the saddle, then it's all good..

  • YEAH ! Awesome finally someone who speeds abit, subscribed to get some more videos dude

  • cool, this wasnt shot that long ago.. maybe a week or so when it was overcast. I could tell by the construction split on kalanianaole hwy haha. I ride those roads all the time, you should go out around sandies side its really nice.

  • I was wondering when someone would throw down the proper spelling of that road.. That's awesome, I always have to google map it. Lol..

    Thanks for posting

    Billy

  • loved the last ride in hawaii. looking forward to enjoying this one..

  • Nice Vlog, i'm gonna watch your other vids.

  • I appreciate it dude, Thanks for watching..

  • Wow, strange seeing the same thing after watching Rob's videos from a different point of view! I'm subscribing to you now, interested with what you have to offer! I'm a Billy too, so woo! See you around!

  • Billy,

I had to check out your page to get what you were talking about, lol..I just bought a Mac, you're my new best friend..hahah.. Thanks a million for the subscription!

    Billy

  • Sweet! Yeah, I've been on a Mac all my life, you'll love yours I guarantee it! And no problem on the subscription, I'm looking forward to seeing your videos popping up soon!

  • Just found your channel and I enjoy your vids. I would call you more of a film maker than a vlogger but I would suggest throwing in some vlogs on trips just for the scenery factor. You do really great stuff with a camera btw.

  • Thanks Zero,

The Vlogging community has really welcomed me, even though I'm somewhat of an orphan on youtube. =) I'll get the hang of vlogging and add the best stuff to my overall travel vids.

    I appreciate the comment,

    Billy

  • The one question I have for you is, why do guys always seem to have a hat with them when they are off their bikes? Do you guys carry them in your jackets? Isn't that uncomfortable? hehe just wondering :D

  • Helmet hair girly, my hair will literally take on the shape of the liner..looks ridiculous, kinda like a legoman. A hat is one of the few things we can carry in the tail compartment. Now if I had a cute cortech tail bag...hmmm, I could get a big hat, lol

  • Thanks Cip, It was a kinda impromptu ride, it was a good time, I'm not sure if Rob has actually seen it yet =)

    Take care,

    Billy

  • That road at the beginning looked really cool. I get really nervous driving fast in neighborhoods though. I'm always afraid a car or kid will run out in front of me.

I definitely think you should do some vlogging in your travel videos. Maybe when you find some cool sights or nice roads on your quest to collect more state signs.

  • Yeah, I was a bit nervous too, but we survived without incident...lol..

I'll add a lil vlog to my travel vids for sure

    Thanks for the comment,

    Billy

  • super good video. It was awesome. I think your regular viewers wouldn't mind a little moto vlogging from time to time. Because you know, only cool people moto vlog.lol

  • Yanno Steel,

My lil magic eight ball says that someday you might be doing a lil BWOM style stuff. The dark side is calling you..hahah, But you're right, cool people do vlog..Lol..

  • nice video , the quality is pretty cool is it the fuji z20? the other v loger apears to have a fuji z20 , if it is , whats the upload format and resolution you put ??

  • Ronin,

Actually both Rob and I were shooting with Kodiak V570's. But this is a multiple part series and later on in the day I used the Fuji. I'll make sure I annotate when I make the shift.

    Thanks for the comment,

    BIlly

  • Cool video

  • Another great video!

  • Thanks Rob, I appreciate it. I see ya posted the frame sliders winner, very cool idea..

  • You've got great videos. It was awesome seeing Rob from a third person perspective. "Which way Rob, which way?!" Hah

  • Thanks Toast, It was alot of fun, even if the weather wasn't all that great. This is the first in a 4 mebbe 5 series set of videos. It was my practice run..I'll get the hang of it eventually lol..

    Billy

  • I love it too.

  • nice bike... i love yamahas r6's

  • correction "yamaha r6's" ^^,

  • I gotcha bro, it was a sweet bike, not mine tho, it was a rental..hehe

  • aww that sucks

  • i would watch what ever way you go...do like the travel stuff...its your FLAVOR...lol...but i think putting a little vlog into the travel will be cool.

  • Just trying to mix it up a lil bit, if I could travel ALL the time I if I could, But i really appreciate the comment. My FLAVOR..haha..I really don't know where that came from..Lol

  • I agree with GAbbyoski :p i enjoy the way youve done your vids very much. I love the travel, the music, the quotes, the signs, the humor, and slaggy. I think throwing in a vlog during all this will just ad to an already excellent series/page/"flavor of BWOM.

  • Thanks man,

I vlogged yesterday as well, and I found that since you can almost vlog everyday (verses a cross country trip) you can afford "throwaway" video, so I found I was being more myself, because I was comfortable knowing that i could just chunk it if I didn't like it. So vlogs will definitely be an accessory to my overall channel,

    Thanks for the comment,

    Billy

  • yay, first vlog.

  • Jason,

Technically not my first, I've been doing this for years, but definitely my first "in helmet cam" one, and absolutely my first since the Vlogging community has welcomed me as one of there own..lol .

    Take Care,

    Billy

  • Wow, i always took you for a calm easy rider. lol

  • Haha,

Really? hmmmm, I wonder what you'll think when I'm on my own bike and my own turf..Lol..

  • ill be thinkin i wont be able to keep up with this guy if we ride together. lol

  • yay, cant wait to meet you in omaha.

  • Heck Yeah Jason,

It's going to be a crazy summer..

  • Bill. man i dont care what vid's you do, there all second to none for me! Dont worry your true subscribers will stick with you dude, you put a lot of work into editing and makin proper vlogs. Just my opinion anyway's. Stay safe man! By the way, sweet riding on a strange bike man. TJ

  • I really appreciate that TJ, I'm just experimenting a bit..it's different territory, but alot of fun

    Thanks for the comment

    Billy

  • Nice billmaa! Either style you choose, your still making top notch vids. But its kinda wierd to see Rob! LOL

  • Thanks Ninjabiker,

He has posted a couple of short vids on his channel as well, it was a good time..

    Billy
