it's a ripple in the wind I see that every time I go fishing and it's right next to the boat the ripples just as thick as that one and most of the time it just turns out to be the wind we can tell because the waters clear although one time we did see a dark animal swimming than it popped up on the shore it was just a otter

It could be anything. But, that doesn't mean that it has to be a monster. If Lake Worth is fresh water, my guess would be a large fish such as a carp, catfish, gar, or sturgeon. All four of the fish that I mentioned get very large and have been known to swim just under the surface to cause a mysterious wake. Also, I think Florida has all four of those types of fish. I don't know much about alligators, but it seems to me that they might swim just under the surface like that too.

It's probably an alligator. Don't forget that the water in the lagoon has a current, which makes small wakes become much larger. I love when people don't know what things are and they immediately proclaim that it's come unknown creature.
