It would be awesome if we got well known movie stars, but the money isn't there for them. For the Christian industry to make better movies we have to support as much as we can now to get the ratings up for larger budgets. So watch on the big screen as much as possible! and buy the DVD's! - I want more good movies! I love a good movie and their are lot of good books out there that could be awesome movies!

Those people and the series you speak of are hugely regarded by fans of the horror genre. Stephen King himself called The Devil's Rejects (the 2nd film in that series in which all these main actors appear) one of the Top 10 horror films of the past decade. As a hardcore horror fan I have to agree.

I like peretti and dekker is ok.... but it's from the TERRIBLE director robby henson who SLAUGHTERED the visitation with his HOKY SILLY adaption and also made the terrible Thr3e..... basically.... this is christian moviemaking so it sucks!!!!!! as a christian who is studying film I am sorry to say it.... but it's true. the whole genre is just SAD!!!! plus... even this trailer looks dumb. it's coming to theaters (but not near you cause it's limited release) 10/2/08

October 2007, huh? It's not out yet. On Ted Dekker's website, I think it said it was coming in the fall of 08. I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't come out at all.
As soon as I read your somment and I mean RIGHT AFTER I read this I went to Godtube. I checked out the other trailer. The begining freaked me out and I didn't finish it. And honestly, I never saw many different seens. All I saw was that one girl.
it hasn't come out yet. there was a problem with the the rating and which company was going to release it. currently it's going to be coming out this fall, maybe in aug or sep. at least that's what dekker's site says. i can't wait for it, it's one of my favorite books :)
I also heard that Lionsgate picked it up to release and it is coming straight to DVD because they have too much money invested in other horror movies going to theatres. I hope that they, at least, make another trailer for this before release and get some more info out to the public on if there will be special features or not.

not at all, the story line is completely different in itself, i have seen vacancy, and have read House twice...Vacany was just a decent movie that few anticipated, im pretty sure ALL of Dekker fans and more have been anticipating this movie to come out ever since they first stated that they will make this movie!!

They pushed it back to Fall 2008.
I read the book and loved it. This movie should be epic win and epic freaky. ^_^

DUDE I FINISHED THE BOOK IN 3 DAYS!
When i was reading the second chapter i was saying to myself "they should make a movie" SO NOW IM SUPER EXCITED FOR ITS RELEASE!!!

Has anyone seen the OTHER House trailer?I saw it on Godtube and it was was better better!It shows alot more
and shows more of the scenes from the book! It

As soon as I read your somment and I mean RIGHT AFTER I read this I went to Godtube. I checked out the other trailer. The begining freaked me out and I didn't finish it. And honestly, I never saw many different seens. All I saw was that one girl.

it hasn't come out yet. there was a problem with the the rating and which company was going to release it. currently it's going to be coming out this fall, maybe in aug or sep. at least that's what dekker's site says. i can't wait for it, it's one of my favorite books :)

I also heard that Lionsgate picked it up to release and it is coming straight to DVD because they have too much money invested in other horror movies going to theatres. I hope that they, at least, make another trailer for this before release and get some more info out to the public on if there will be special features or not.

Also in the newsletter it said that Lionsgate is already planning to make a movie on his new book Adam! I haven't read it but I hear its his best book yet!

Ted Dekker is amazing. Finished house, finished Black. And his books are turning film, this is great. It was rated R in the US, meaning 18a or 14a here.

not at all, the story line is completely different in itself, i have seen vacancy, and have read House twice...Vacany was just a decent movie that few anticipated, im pretty sure ALL of Dekker fans and more have been anticipating this movie to come out ever since they first stated that they will make this movie!!
