I think Aybar had a better fielding percentage and has better range. Don't get me wrong, I loved watching Asdrubal all season but there were a lot of easy plays that he didn't make because he double-clutched, hesitated, misplayed the ball, or just couldn't get the guy out in time because of his limited range.
Not MVP, first of all because he needs to be leaders in at least a couple of season stats, considering he wasn't in any of them and with the 5+ well-deserving candidates out there, he has little to no chance of winning the MVP. And since the Indians didn't even make the playoffs, so he has no chance of winning MVP. As for Gold Glove, people don't realize that the plays Asdrubal Cabrera makes takes skill and I have no idea why Aybar won it, a lot of people got robbed of a gold glove this year.
and yet we still don't have a championship...
