@nytroman1 I have a ts chip to and there is a anti theft position on my chip and it won't start if it is in that posistion and for the shifting when it is turned all the way up to 140hp it changes your shifting for harder shifts for racing.
I am new to diesel world I just bought a completely stock 7.3 powerstroke automatic trans. Except for 8" lift and 37" tires, just installed my ts chip it is great except when I put it on the 140 setting and matte it it has a sputter in second gear then when shifts to third it goes away. Is it not getting enough fuel? Any thoughts please let me know. Also drove it 30 miles then parked it for 30 min it the truck wouldn't start with chip on until I turned dial to stock setting is this normal?
so either your full of shit or your stacking a ts and an edge juice with attitude cuz this exact same video is on here already, just at a different camera angle. my vote is ur full of shit.
never took it to the track... and well I can only tell you what vechils I have beat... it wastn' that fast but it could hold its own... and well I'm sure the 4.56's helped out alot
I was Looking Into the New TS MP-8 For My 7.3 do you find that that six position is sufficient or feel like it could do better i was wonderin for Mutal reasons =)
stacking doesn't really help that much... and as for custom tunes.. go to StealthAutomotive and you can get the Tony Wildman chip from Raul... any more questions just ask
HEY!!!! i was just readin the comments and read your a fellow org member! god i love that site my name on there is the same TxPSD9673 nice truck btw i got a vid of mine but when i try to upload it, it just tries for 30 min! (believe me a walked away) any ideas????
what feels like it gives the truck more balls the ts chip or the edge???? also i noticed on one of your other vids it said you put both in at the same time...how?
it is two different styles of chips... and the ts feels a little more but if you have a 7.3L and want some power go with a Tony Wildman chip.. you can get them at Stealth-Automotvie dot com
what setting do you run the chip on for daily driving? I have a 97' 7.3 and thinking about putting a 4" turbo back exhaust on it and removing the cat. I want mine to smoke a lot more
well a chip will only getting it smoking so much, but to really get it to smoke you will need to get custom tunes and some injectors... check out powerstroke dot org... and you can find me on there my screen name is najaf4life
dude your name says 97 z71 so that tells me you drive a chevy so when you decide to get rid of your gasser and get a real mans truck then you can start talking smack but until then take your you think you know everything attitude and go somewhere else like toys r us or chucky cheese
DPP is the strongest automatic along with suncoast tranny's out there if you were big into drag racing or even sled pulling now (unfortunately) automatics are taking over.
welp no thats not true i know you know everything but to let you know in my sled puller yes i'm a ford guy so you can put two and two together anyways "the high dollar clutch" isnt always good i have a SBC DD iron giant and i ripped it out thats why i'm going with the DPP for the reliabilty and strength. The old stereotype of that automatics suck is all over they're taking over look at truck sales companies know this and they're putting any available resources into them.

@ssahsemaj ok... if it was the "exact" same video that is already on here you would see someone else standing closer to the truck... do you?
and I didn't say anything about stacking them in this video.... this video was TS only......

shepkimberly 2 years ago
about the same really.... for the 7.3L it doesn't take much to max out the injectors...
03powerstroke 2 years ago
smaller tires well net more power.those meats will kill alot of power 40-60 hp i bet.
2253benjamin 2 years ago
it would take some HP but I wouldn't think that it would take that much....

well the TS 6 pos isn't that bad of a chip really... but the best out there would be a custom tuned chip for your 7.3L.....
03powerstroke 3 years ago

SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. :) Get a cummins. You're gonna break that powerjoke.
97Z71 4 years ago
can't be toooo slow I have beaten some cummins before....... and they were lucky that there tranny didn't fall out...
03powerstroke 4 years ago
I'm going to call BS. The stock "torqushit" is much weaker than the dodge 4 speed.
97Z71 4 years ago
my truck is a manual
03powerstroke 4 years ago
Well if you are talking about manuals, then you can't beat the NV5600. No one has even come close to limit of these things
97Z71 4 years ago
um yes they have thats why they get rid of them and get a DPP automatic tranny you dike
emtff7959 4 years ago
Why the fuck would you get an automatic? They don't call them "slushboxes" for nothing.
97Z71 4 years ago
dude your name says 97 z71 so that tells me you drive a chevy so when you decide to get rid of your gasser and get a real mans truck then you can start talking smack but until then take your you think you know everything attitude and go somewhere else like toys r us or chucky cheese

I sold that truck 2 years ago. I own a 2002 Ram 2500 with the cummins 5.9 H.O.
Know the facts before you jump to conclusions.

DPP is the strongest automatic along with suncoast tranny's out there if you were big into drag racing or even sled pulling now (unfortunately) automatics are taking over.
emtff7959 4 years ago
They are taking over only because no one has attempted to improve the standards. And why haven't they? Because they are already indestructible...
Later gater.
97Z71 4 years ago
no they're taking over because you dont have to worry about frying several thousand dollar clutches.
emtff7959 4 years ago
Well again, if you buy a high dollar clutch you won't have to worry about frying it too often. You'd be more apt to breaking your auto tranny.
97Z71 4 years ago
welp no thats not true i know you know everything but to let you know in my sled puller yes i'm a ford guy so you can put two and two together anyways "the high dollar clutch" isnt always good i have a SBC DD iron giant and i ripped it out thats why i'm going with the DPP for the reliabilty and strength.
