  • Hey, I'm a trans guy myself, and stumbled on your YouTube videos randomly.

Out of curiosity, did your endo at Kaiser require a therapist's letter? I have Kaiser, too, and I have a referral from my PCP to endocrinology, but not a therapist's letter. Do you think that'll be a problem? Thanks in advance for responding!

  • Oh, and in addition to my private message, yes, I did get a letter from a therapist.

  • great vids good luck on your journey!

  • What happened to the vagina?

  • .. what?

  • Hi. I'm sorry but I cannot explain in better english! I mean, for girl to boy, sex tranforms. Can you tell me what happen to vagina? Do you keep, or can they model penis. I am serious and not mess with you. I saw your picture as girl and you look good as either.

  • I cannot give you a specific description of the process which will fit into the space available on youtube, but there are several different surgeries available, metoidioplasty, and phalloplasty are two which you could look up if you desire to know the specifics.

  • congrats!

  • Haha, thanks. And thanks for all those flattering comments on my other videos, you had me blushing. :)

  • Congratulations!!! That's so awesome :D

  • yay! congratulations! my endo had me do blood work to get pre-t levels and on the first appt. we just kind of discussed the effects and long-term-edness of taking T and if i had a support system regarding my transition and such. my dr. is kind of akward acting, but after talking to a few other guys, i've learned he acts like that with everyone. anyway, good luck w/ congrats!

  • congratulations dude!

  • well i never had an endo appointment, i actually go to a doctor thats specializes only in transgender people so it was very accepting and nice. Im always very comfortable with her. I guess id be very nervous too with someone who doesnt specialize in transgender people and not too sensitive to it

  • Oh. That's lame. At least I was able to find a doctor who would treat me... but unfortunately I have to drive about an hour, which is a little irritating.

  • Congrads man!

  • i had my blood test done a week in advance.

then i was 45 min l8, so i had to w8 an hour. when he finally got to me it was short, only about 15 min. and he had a med student with him. then i drove down the road to the pharmacy where it was w8ing 4 me :)

  • Mkayy. I haven't had my blood tests yet. So I suppose I'll need to get that completed.

  • awesomeeee, congrats dude.

I was pretty scared on my first appt, I went before getting a psych referral, plus it probably works a bit different here. it took me about just over a year before I started on T after my initial appt. but seeing as you've got a lot of the stuff out of the way, you'll probly be good to go after a couple of visits. tests are usually blood tests, maybe a smear if you haven't had a recent.

  • Ah. I don't know how I'd feel about waiting another yearrr. But I'm really glad you were able to aquire your hormones. :}

  • congratulations. that's great news.
