@kikesexy of course they're better than Salgado. I don't know about Fierro but do you think a GA player is better than a Premier League Player and who plays for Spain's nation team? Unless you mean some other Torres.
Fun fact: The coach for Gen Adidas for this tour, Peter Vermes (SKC's coach), played for this club when he was still a forward (player as a defender in MLS) back in 1990.
I wouldn't mind the MLS using Generation Adidas as a 20th team because it gives those players starting time and it's a huge development boost. I know that in the Slovak Extraliga (the top ice hockey league there) that have a team called Slovakia 20 which is composed of youth players as a way for them to get elite experience and a way to develop better youth talent which in turn should lead to better World Junior results.
@thierryman I really like that idea, but to me it is so... what's the word? A little unusual. It'll have to be something that I will have to get use to. But I would love to see that because it will greatly help the young players to improve themselves and help their country when they receive call-ups.
@fengkorberfer Generation Adidas is pretty complicated but basically they are, for the most part, American college-aged players that signed MLS contracts before graduating college. US Soccer and MLS offer players who leave college early to the pros these type of contracts. But look it up on Google. And FC Volendam is a club in Holland. This is most likely their youth team that the Generation Adidas team is playing!
@fengkorberfer Generation Adidas is something created by MLS and Adidas to help further the young talented soccer players in America. Past Generation Adidas members include Dempsey, Tim Howard, Altidore, Edu, Shea, Adu, Michael Bradley, Guzan, Beasley, Bocanegra, Beckerman, Buddle, Brad Davis, Mapp, Wolff, Bunbury and many others. FC Volendam is a dutch team that players in the Eerste Divisie (Dutch Second Division).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought FC Velendam was orange and black. I mean, their nickname is "The Other Oranje". Plus, neither Joris Dekker or Bowdee Burleson are on the Volendam roster.. who did GA actually play?

Duka doing some work. Also, Salgado is nice on the ball for a tall forward.

@sykotik04 It's FC Volendam. I just looked at their website. Look at Volendam A1 and you will find Joris Dekker

@thierryman Ah, guess I didn't do enough research. I was looking only at the first team. I stand corrected, thank you.
