it's MARVIN "BUGALU" SMITH playin' the drums on this one. He sometimes gets confused with Marvin "Smitty" Smith. Bugalu also plays on Shepp's records made in the 80s. Both are great drummers, but Marvin Bugalu Smith deserves more attention than he's had! Check out his gorgeous youtube channel: bugalusmith
