I love the Hyena dance, and their costumes are really good too, especially when the light reflects off their eyes. Very good show.

Just saw the Lion King on broadway today! It was AWESOME!!!! A MILLION TIMES BETTER THAN THIS!! Its was so cultural, i found it amazing! Really gives you a taste of africa! Best show i ever saw!

@luiz3e7 Agreed.. Though I like the stage setup of this show MUCH better.. It's how it should be.. Though I do appriciate Julie Taymors work as well, it's an art form al its own.. But to spruce it up.. This set, with the broadway version would be awesome.. The Broadway costumes can all stay the same.

Come on, this is a diner-show you get free to your burger and it shrinks the musical to around 25 Minutes - for a Show in a theme-park its realy incredible with real fire, water. To sad it's gone and replaces with ... some disney-vintage-videos

IF you thought this was good, see the Broadway show! The opening Circle of Life scene is breathtaking. 100x better. Look up "Broadway Circle of Life" scene.

i saw this in 2008 and 2009, the simba from 2009 wasn't very good. i think the simba in this video is the one from the 2008 show, anybody know his name? (the actor i mean!!!)

the show got a standing ovation in 2008, it was so awesome, but last year just a good amount of applauses XD the actors didn't connect much with the audience...

What a great show!  I hate it when people use flash when they are instructed not to. It really is harmful to the performers. I always want to say something when I visit WDW and someone is taking pics w/flash in a dark ride. Sorry - just had to vent there!

Eh heh, it just strikes me how incredibly lame that "Circle of Life"-scene was. It looked like they had tried to imitate the Broadway show as much as possible, but it just... didn't work. *shakes head*

I like the stage and the special effects in LoTLK, but that's pretty much it.

yeah, you kind of have to tailor the show to the venue, and while the scene works on Broadway with its more epic scale, I think the epicness is kind of lost with the smaller cast and venue. I almost think they should have gone for a more intimate feel, considering this. imho.
