sounds louder but in no way it can replace ipod dock but good for travelling. i get the same effect when i play my iphone in the shower the bathroom amplifies the sound like crazy only thing i dont like is the echo kind of sound to it. this is good the fact that it doesnt need power to run it especially considering how crap iphone batteries are

I bought 1 from ebay, the buttons are cheap and the sleep button dont work, just like a dummi. Sent it back

I just bought an Griffin AirCurve but I then realised it was for 3G iPhones, so it doesn't amplify the sound because i have the iPhone 4, So I think I need to get one of these :D good review too (its Acrylic not Perspex)

Good review but i find the product a little gimmicky. I'd rather spend my money on a small speaker which does sound better and more portable.

Nice review Dave, £12 is an absolute must buy for effectively speakers, without batteries. Nice to see your iPhone's Jailbroken still. Just a thought, download Dreamboard, from the big boss repo. It allows you to seamlessly switch between the HTC theme (Stunning) and your original theme.
