How did you send in your camera for repair servicing? I'm asking because during my vacation of 2009, my camera dropped (b/c something was loose from the outside of the camcorder) causing some inside parts to not work right. As a result the camera screen shows nothing but brownish static patterns and messes up the tape. Also, the nearest place for repair servicing (particularly for my camcorder) is at least 30 miles away from where I live.
