I wish this guy would explain why the ending of the movie makes NO DAMN SENSE...

I am about to spoil the ending for anyone who hasn't seen it... so stop reading now.

Why does Flynn sacrifice himself for no reason? All he had to do was delay CLU for about two seconds, not destroy him. His son could do that from the real world.

Furthermore, why is it that Zeus uses a lazer machine gun to great effect, while everyone else uses those crappy discs as weapons, INCLUDING the guards/special forces?

@DGneoseeker1 Because Jeff Bridges is getting to old to do another tron. My Guess in Tron 3, Flynn will be intergrated in the system some how and will still be able to communicate to his son, but never physically be int he movie.
