  • nice lawn

  • That has got to be the best piece of inginuity I have ever seen kudos brotha that is one sick as shit canoe

  • Fucking awesome

  • that's frickin great. too bad about the electric start.

  • awesome job

  • Ni-ha hah ce woooorrrk man, lol.

  • I am truly impressed!

  • hey can u tell me how u installed the radio, because im planning on building one and i would like a stero

  • If you get water in the boat (from climbing in, or from splashing) will it short the wires? Might be in for a nasty surprise! This looks realy neat though. I like the steering system.

  • how fast

  • how did u hook up the gas gauge?

  • Wow! I need to talk to you about that motor. I got a john boat I would like to make a motor for. Can you post video of the details on the motor. Thanks.

  • The water looks really weird it looks like im staring off into an endless cliff

  • @TheGAHman thats what i thought too..!!

  • kick ass!

  • Dude that's sick. I'll trade you a geo metro for it?

  • cool

  • JUST BUY A BOAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • nice

  • is that the front of a jetski, or modelled after one? b/c it really looks like one. haha

  • this is fucking sick

  • pretty sweet dud time to go into production....ill take one

  • I like it!!!!

  • how are you powering the radio?

  • It could be much more enjoyable and controlable if electric motor is used.

  • next mod routing the exzost under the water or making one really big one for above water?

  • that thing is so sick... how fast does it go? i have a lawn mower engine similar to that one but when i rev it, something is knocking in the engine which i dont think is a good thing lol.

  • hey man this is pretty sweet. one of my leaf blowers broke recently. small echo that's a 2 cycle. it has a straight shaft on it so i've been thinking of putting a boat leg on it..do you know what's best for it? and I heard using an rc boat prop is better than a trolling motor prop......

any idea of how I could hook up an electric start to it?

    thanks

  • @krazykayaker82 We couldn't get the electric start working so your guess is as good as mine. I would imagine the prop would just depend on how powerful your engine is. The prop we used was to big when we tried it with a weed wacker engine. But when we attached the more powerful lawn mower engine, it did just fine. You just need to get one that is the appropriate size.

  • @4801232396 to get the electric start to work u first must need a starter but im sure u know that but what u could do is jusmp the starter with a switch like have it linline with the jump and that could turn it on and off but i dint see a battery so was there even a starter on the thing

  • dude that is sick...did it take a long time

  • DUDE!!!! Thats frickin AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • any vids of it on the water?

  • @HnEhonda Yeah check out my other videos

  • If you still have that or even if you dont, could you maybe make a video just simply explaining how the motor and propeller setup worked?

  • @mickeydamon I actually took a shortcut with that step...We just bought an old bought leg off ebay so fortunatly we didnt have to deal with the 90 degree turn for the propellor. We simply made some brackets for the motor to sit on the old leg, and just bolted it down.

  • @burnout265 what?

  • Really excellent work.

  • that is just 2 cool i want one

  • looks like you used a trolling motor prop, are you still having problems with them splitting? just wondering because they arent designed to turn high RPM and this looks to have no gear reduction

  • @burnout265 how much to make it? or how much to buy it?

  • like you could even hear a radio

  • Would have been a better video if it didn't make me dizzy !

  • the fail boat is underway!!

  • I don't understand why people do this to canoes. They are easy to paddle and keep you in shape. If you want a motorboat buy a small flat bottom thats designed to easily hold a gas motor, is cheaper than most canoes, and has more room. Tip that canoe with all that crap on it and its done for. NO offense intended, its nice work, just sayin.

  • @jamamanjamh13 It's called a project, something fun to do. I didn't do this to be practical or to stay in shape, I did it for fun.

  • @jamamanjamh13 Still good fun, and nice if where you want to get to is 30 miles away and you only have the weekend.

  • great machine

  • Man that's sweet I wouldve chosen a wooden canoe but still awsome

  • how did you change gear or was it fixed in all the time

  • hi i am only a kid and i am putting a 8 hp lawnmower engine on a outboard leg that was a 3.5 hp outboard. i like your design of the steering consol!!!! nice!!!! but the prop that is on it is way to small and you prolly could put a bigger one on to make it go faster!!!!!!!

  • @ampears95 Attaching the prop and finding one that spins the right way and fits good is a very hard task. It was the best thing we could come up with. Let me know how your turns out!

  • Good job man! lol Too bad about the prop, but thats an easy fix.

  • sweet boat man

  • run it

  • i build boats and this is verry well done verry creative nice job looks like it will work well thanks for the video

  • @jeryl1968 Thank you very much, I always enjoy seeing what I can make. Well if you ever need help, or want to team up, let me know!

  • Nice ,.... I got Smoker Craft alluminum canoe for super low price together with Mariner 1989 2 hp 2 stroke engine ...

  • what did you make the shaft with the 90 degree bend from

  • How did you turn the drive for the propeller through 90deg?

  • That was a problem we knew we were going to struggle with so we used an old lower boat leg. (It already came with the 90deg turn in it)

  • @jonny24667995 you can use the gears from an old trucks differential to get the 90 degree turn. but there is many other options.

  • How did you turn the drive through 90deg for the propeller?

  • If you do it in a wider boat, will it give it more control? soz, im only 13, gont get alot of this stuff.

  • I understand, go to yard sales look for small jon boats 10ft or 12 ft. Perfect for the river lake or large ponds. and the motor will push them real well

  • Considering that its a quiet place and there are no waves, i guess youre right. :)

  • lol i usd the B&S on the south canadian river in Oklahoma it works great never had a problem goes up and down stream very well. I have a real outboard though not homemade but definately modified

  • Nice, when i grow up a bit i may move to the USA and start building stuff, because i love to build things.

  • Awsome we are in need of people with said talents come on over you are more than welcome in America, you know the American dream is for everyone and you may just strike it rich my friend.

  • Yeah, America and it's American dream. I wish i could actually see what they mean with it. I guess I can, If I try hard enough. :)

  • The American dream is an idea not my ideas but yours you can take something small and make it gigantic in America. You may aslo get loaded filthy rich doing it. Can you smell the money?!

  • Yeah.. I guess so. So that's it, I'm young now but in the future I am CERTAINLY going to America!

  • Hey Its Me, ANDPAQ23. Thanks for the comments on my video. I have seen your video several times already. You did a really nice job too - 5 STARS! I would love to see your machine in action. Any plans to make another video?

  • Yeah i need to do another video. This cold weather is no fun, once it passes I will definitely have to get it out on the water.

  • Hey, I'm almost done. But I have a major problem. I was wondering how you made your engine go from vertical to horizontal motion. Did you use the shaft from a trolling motor or what. This one is making me think. Thanks.

  • OMG I have the SAME canoe! Gonna make my own version of a long-tail motor for it though. Yours is awesome.

  • Thanks. Definitely let me know how it turns out!

  • I'm going to go try this. Ha! Just out of curiosity I was wondering if you lived in orange county FL cause your YouTube page looks like your student ID number. I think orange county is the only people who do that. With the 4801.... But way cool man I'm looking forward to doing something like this.

  • haha yes I do live in Orange County. good luck on the project!

  • Thanks! Another question. How did you set up your steering(The way you got the cable around the steering wheel)?

  • I've been trying to think of how I could make a console for my 14ft. aluminum boat. I saw your design and wondered how you put that together in that form. Is it all plastic? And how did you construct the throttle?

  • Awesome do it, its a lot of fun. I actually made the console out of a thin wood and wrapped it in the vinyl material. I made the throttle by simply using a steel rod. I attached the rod to the surface of the console in the middle of the rod by using a pin that allows it to move. I attached the throttle cable to the bottom of the rod ( inside/underneath the console). Thus when i push the throttle forward, the bottom of the rod is moving backwards, pulling the cable. I hope this makes sense lol

  • You've got imagination, ability, potential and a little class, Keep it up,find a way to make it profitable and you got it made.

  • Thanks!

  • keep up the good work man thats awesome someone has a future with there hands

  • bloody ripper mate good job love the light and music i want to see it go so get on ebay and buy a new prop ang get back on the water.......thanks for the vid

  • that is fucking awsome

  • Great idea!! I plan on borrowing your console idea for my wood solar powered canoe project .

    Keep up the good work!!!!

  • Thanks!

Let me know how your project turns out!

  • thats sick that is fucking awsome nice!!!!

    5 stars for u

  • thats fucking aswome

  • Great job,looks really great.

  • Thank you
