I have one guy saying I am just to fucking dumb and nasty to talk to. wtf man.
I use to buy into lords shit untill i built up my skeptic skills. You people have helped me make those skils, even if i don't think so highly of human brains.myself. I know how dumb people can be and are. including me. I will go with the scientists that have studied it all these years.
Look I was a machinist, i use fix problems and fuck ups. But i was not skeptical at all.
Monckton supporters may be unwilling to change their views because people usually have a mental block to the admission of being wrong.
Being wrong by proxy when you've put someone up on a pedastool while taking everything they say without even moderate skepticism seems to create this even more-so.
It's like a terrible band, and the fans will say it's the best thing ever. They'd rather listen to something they hate than be alienated by their peer group
@RyuDarragh "Where the hell is he getting his data on the other planets and moons?"
I think he is cherry-picking accurate information about other planets and moons. He doesn't mention that some planets and moons are getting colder at the same time. Since orbits are elliptical, I would expect that about half are getting further from the sun at any given time so there should be cooling on those planets and their moons while those that are getting closer should be warming.

@RyuDarragh Probably from peer reviewed journals. I'm surprised he didn't mention Uranus as it has been warming as well. Though his simple minded followers do not realize that there are more than just solar output than can affect planetary climates. For instance, the reason the ice caps on Mars are melting is because of albedo changes due to changing dust storms. and this, once again, comes from peer reviewed literature.
@WaxItYourself: Indeed. Using the data itself and not asking the obvious question "why?". It's easy to use a single factum to obfuscate an issue, sadly. It could be that the albedo changes are due to lower than expected solar irradiance, but that has not been mentioned or any reason discussed by him. He's hoping everyone will just assume it's because of greater solar output and will just ignore all evidence to the contrary.

@GhenisCanne I am already well aware of this study and have discussed this in depth. Here they are only testing one aspect of cloud formation due due to cosmic radiation. There are four variables that need to be satisfied. however, climatologists are well aware of this but they are also well aware the effect is minimal. deniers are taking this far out of context just as about any other news that they believe supports their belief.
I disagree. The principle of GIGO applies here as well. Phil Jones fessed up to skullduggery ( I read the emails long before then became popular) and I know perfectly well what I read) and M. Mann was a con man as well. I will never believe that they did not practice their deceptive arts blindly.
And these are not the only ones who support cloud formation theory, but who even knows about them? I am aware of how few people actually challenge AGW. Blind oikophobia?
@GhenisCanne so then I take it mother nature is in on this scheme as well as the data shows, without a doubt, that the world is warming (Ecological responses to climate change). It also shows without a doubt that the warming is attributable to a growing greenhouse (Temporal and spatial rates of warming) and it also shows that most of the warming is attributable to CO2 (Satellite measurements of outbound longwave radiation). I have read the responses of scientists. (Realclimate website)
Take note my friend: A group of scientists challenge your opinion and you deem them deniers etc, etc et nauseum. A group of scientists support your opinion and you deem them divinely inspired and above challenge.
@GhenisCanne Yes, I'd agree that you are the fool. Explain to me how the increase in greenhouse gases and the measured resultant increased retention of longwave energy in the troposphere can not lead to warming. Warning: you're going to have to completely ignored the laws of physics for this one.
@WaxItYourself keep dreaming my friend. The bloom is off the rose and fewer and fewer people here or abroad buy your nonsense. Your scientific predicate is bogus and there will be no Kyoto in the future. The leftist pols who promoted your watermelon political agenda are going the way of the Little Ice Age. Al Gore is ranting to shrinking crowds and even Obama is avoiding the topic.
@GhenisCanne I see you completely failed to respond to my second question. Could this be, perhaps, because you are ignorant? What makes scientists like Richard Lindzen and Spencer more trustworthy than almost every other climatologist on the globe? Did you know Spencer was a creationist? Your statement attempting to bring it into a political argument when I specifically asked you about the science and your understanding of it is very showing. Learn the science, not the media.
@GhenisCanne What the fuck do you think creationism is moron? Intelligent Design = Creationism. It is just rewrapped in a way to be offered to schools. Don't tell me you're a creationist too?
And your point is? I take note that the corruption and malfeasance of the IPCC gang is ignored, even supported, but my scientists have not purchase with you.. Galileo and Copernicus were single men fighting against the dogma of the church. Were they atheists? If not, did their faith fail them? Did the official atheism of Lysenko aid him?
There has been no accessible thorough debate, covering all pertinent aspects, on the issue of the man made climate question. Too bad. Until the funding for thorough unbiased public education -- such as a 50 hour TV series -- which I would watch, I will stand against taking any political and economic action. I certainly know from experience not to trust gov't or university employees.
Under the original Potholer video, several deniers are still supporting Monkton. Potholer has been asking for any evidence on their claims or, at the very least, someone to take on his challenge...
Its sad that people are more interested in confirming their bias (there is no global climate change) than in listening to facts. =/ thank you for this series as always!

Your ignorance brays louder than any jackass. Spencer is a supporter of intelligent design. Which leaves you out of the debate already.
See? Your agenda is a lie which is based on lies. Pat attention to the headlines. You will soon go the way of the dodo.
