You know the cutscenes at the very begeinning of NFSU2? Well, You know the Nissan Skyline you drove? I think Caleb is the guy in the Hummer H2 Who really Screws up the Nissan Skyline at the corner, on your way to the party at Samantha's, because You crash into him in like.. "Mid-Dritf". Caleb is who you have to "defeat" meaning, win the races he challenges you to. He is the "Bad Guy"
