  • where's all the black people?

  • @pmezo in the blues clubs, inventing the next music.

  • @pmezo This is probably German TV. That's where they were popular. Very few Black people in Deutschland back then.

  • @kittyprydekissme Yes, it is West Germany in the 1960's. The show is called Beat Club and was that

country's equivalent of the USA's American Bandstand, the UK's Tops of the Pops and Australia's

Countdown. I thought this piece was rather funny.

  • the drummer is a blast!

  • The drummer is awesome! She looks like she's having a blast. The cool thing is, these girls could really play and that' was a rarity. I'd rather see the Liverbirds than the pop-tarts they're churning out today. Thanks for sharing!

  • @Parkwaymania LOL I was going to say something about the drummer too! She's flailing for all she's worth and looks like she's enjoying it. Great tune. Thanks for posting this vid!

  • Saw these girls play at "The Big Apple Club" in Munich while in the USAF 604th AC&W Squadron, Freising, Germany, 1964-1966. Great times.
